Remarks

Actually Saint xaviers college is a very prestigious and renowned institute in all over India.i have heard that the faculties are too good, the best thing is that they provide the placement cell facilities for all students. That's why I choose this institute.Mathematics is my favourite subject science class 10. That's why I select this course

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is completely CBCS based, which means it provides a overall best course syllabus. That's make us ready for any competitive examinations for higher studies. The faculties are too good.SR mam, & TB sir is just awesome

Mostly from our course students go for or higher studies in very renowned institutes like IIT, ISI,IISER etc. Some important banks like kotak Mahindra Bank,HDFC Bank,TCS come for the placement.You should have to film placement shell form to join in the placement program.

If anyone want great campus life he/she should come here. About all time there are many festivals held. Various seminars are also held. We all all have our departmental festivals also. Xavotsav, our annual fest, is the second largest college festival in West Bengal.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide scholarship for poor meritorious students on request.Not only that they also provide scholarship for the first rank holder of yearly examination of each respective course.You can also apply for Indian government scholarship named inspire scholarship, most of the students of Saint Xavier's college Kolkata get this.

Campus Life

Our campus is too large. It have own free Wi-Fi facilities. We have separate sports club also. The library is too big also. The labs are superior. There are total six computer labs, hand free biotech labs.

Hostel Facilities

Live the college the hostel facilities are too good also. It is not like others. The food quality superior. Bedrooms are too big and good. There are also sports facilities available with TV room and newspaper facilities.But I think the the average rental is Too high to achieve it by middle class families.There about total 306 seats.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Adamas university : Path of success

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

I chose this college over other colleges due to its high reputation, especially regarding the B.Com course. The college also has a very prestigious range of alumni and good placement opportunities. It consistently ranks among the top colleges in our country, most recently gaining the 6th position on the NIRF scale. The college also has a well-reputed faculty and a record of good teaching. St Xavier's College is the best

I would like to start with these college facilities: Faculties are well experienced and with good knowledge and have proper communication way. The infrastructure is of this college is the best I . Classrooms are equipped with AC in summer and are huge to prevent suffocating. Admission is a very easy process here with less paperwork, have to simply apply online or fill forms and each form costs 1000 (at my time). Have to carry results and certificates of other exams and the minimum marks are required to get selected. And thereafter give a written test on the campus and thereafter give an interview over there. If you will be qualified they may get in touch with you through mobile and email also. The forms are out in the month of June and the dates are fluctuating. Before taking admission I have done a lot of research through friends and have also seen its review on the website Collegedunia. These college facilities are good and the education provided is best.
