Entrance Preview

Enterance exam GATE Score 93 CGPA. This college is close to my house, so I prefer to go to this college. This college have good name and placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

For Master in Electronic, there are 6 subject in each semester and last semester is for thesis. You can select your thesis of your favorite subject.I did not get much help from thesis guide.

Internships Opportunities

There are two type of entrance exam, GATE College conduct there own exam. You will get Rs.5000 stipend if you come through GATE exam and if you score 6.5 CGPA in your each semester.There is no stipend for student come through college exam .

Fee Structure And Facilities

In 2007, the semester fees was 18,000. and the Hostel fees was close to 15,000 per semester. So total expanse will be close to 40,000 per semester. So stipend money is not sufficient to fill all expance.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I do not know about the any such loan facility. But some of my friend had taken loan from SBI bank with 13% interest.

Alumni/Alumna

I do not had good network of senior students, but they are very helpful. You can get the good notes from the senior. So overall experience is good with senior students.

Exam Structure

The exam is conducted by college itself. So every month there will be one exam. There are total 3 exam in each semester and score is calculated on best of 2 exam. The final exam has 70% weightage.

Faculty

Most of the Faculty in this college are PhD, but there teaching skills was not upto mark. So basically you cannot depended upon the faculty. They are just doing there government job with no interest.

Life in Panjab university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course cirriculum is good it is designed in perfect manner. Course contains all good subjects which give us knowledge and real life experience like how life goes and what problems are going to happen and how to solve them in real life . Although teaching is good but i must say we should be given some more practical knowledge so that we can relate more imaith real life. Exams are of moderate level not easy not difficult if you have done your studies in a good and thorough manner.

Got a good oppurtunity for my internship at Mckinsey and company, but the PPO was revoked and then good oppurtunities werent provide for my placement. 50% student were places this year, Last year this was around 80%

Wonderful place for an overall experience and learning

Placement Experience:

The policy says that by the last year of the course students are eligible for campus placement but things have been a lot different in the pandemic. This college has been visited by Google, Microsoft, Reliance, and Infosys on a regular basis. After my master's I plan to continue my study for Ph.D. The mentors here especially the HOD has always offered great insight into my ideas of communication that I wish to explore.

Pec is still worth it

I chose this college because of the fees and legacy of college, it is more than 100 years old and everyone in the industry knows about it, the fees is low compared to others. the campus is decent 150 acres which is comparatively better than other government colleges (though if u want better campus and can pay high, go for thapar). I applied to thapar, IIITs but at the end chose here. I was rejected from NIT delhi due to rank (college tag is more valuable of NIT).
