Remarks

Yes, if you want to study hard and focus on M.E only then this college is good enough but if you just want to roam around don't take admission here, you have to attend lecture's and be on time here. You have to work on your thesis on time as well. All the Best !

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is hard and fast. You have to attend classes regularly and have to attend lecture's as well. No scope for bunking and all. atleast in ECE department. You have to be top notch in any case.

College Events

3.5

Each and every occasion is celebrated here by hostelers. May it be diwali, Christmas or eid. There are students from different religions and places studying here a few young and most of them sponsored teachers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive now than before. Fees is about 40k per semester excluding hostel and other additional charges. 10k security deposit. At my time the fees was 25k/semester. And hostel fees was 10k/6 months.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

MHRD offers scholarship to GATE Qualified students and it's ?12,400/month it gets credited in your account after about 4 months of joining the college. You can afford your education with this stipend and enjoy too.

Campus Life

4.5

Labs and infrastructure looks good from outside and is descent from inside. It's not like other government college's having broken benches and worthless equipments. It's fully furnished and comfortable to spend your time here.

Alumni/Alumna

Everyone is helpful if you know the way to talk with them. Everyone is respectable and they know how to teach the juniors, it's upto you on how to enjoy their company. Take notes and be a good junior to your seniors :)

Admission

I was in last semester of my BTech days in 2016 and was preparing for Gate 2017 to qualify it. With rigorous study I cracked the gate exam that year and applied for ME admissions in this college. I was called upon based on my merit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the course curriculum could have been better because it had subjects and topics that we have already covered in bachelors so there was no point for them in the masters. But few subjects were new to me and i had to do a lot of work done to get through them.

Placement Experience:

placement in last 2 has decreased. less companies are coming to campus. and the companies coming to campus ask for 7 or above CGPA throughout whil make student not eligible for placement... many students have good skill but because of criteria they are not allowed to sit in placement other thing about placment is you have toh oay extra 10k to sit in placement drives. and if you got selected in one company you will not be able to sit in other drive...

Placement Experience:

College placements are good, many students get placed. Some prominent companies that come for campus placements are Exonn Mobil, Shell, Vedanta, Cairn Oil, and Gas, etc. The highest package that is offered is around 12lacs/year and the average package is around 6lacs/annum.

Placement Experience:

the placement cell at the Centre for Master of engineering Studies and Planning is available here. our collage works So hard to ensure that the students from every batch get an opportunity to intern at some reputed firm( be it research or corporate) as well as are placed well at the end of the course. Most of our final placements are in the form of PPO. Moreover, the batch strength isn't huge, so the probability of any person not getting placed on completion of the course is very less. So it is high percentage about 60-70%. My plans after getting the degree is to take admission in any good company i got. There are pretty much availability for jobs so its so good job opportunities after this degree.
