Entrance Preview

Gate 2015. It was very difficult to get score in gate. I was preparing fir last 1 year. And I crack that entrance exam with a good rank in gate. And this college is too good for M.tech.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was very difficult. I have been pursuing m.tech in ece and lot of problems i have been facing. About curriculum i have low experience about it. But i just want to say im a engineer and i can face any problem.

Internships Opportunities

My college intership in tcil-it Chandigarh for six months. I get stipend of Rs 3000/month. It was a awesome experience there. It is government company which provides training in php, net, java, c++, electronic devices and circuits and embadded system, micro processor, micro controller.

The placements and job opportunities is depends upon your efforts. If you work hard you will get job easily. If don't than you have to face lot of problems.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I don't have any kind of scholarship nor loan facility offered by my college. But there are loan availability in our college.

Campus Life

Campus life it was awesome and about extracurricular lab sports completion held in college. In my class 12 boys 10 girls studying. About politics we are supporting .

Hostel Facilities

I stay in PG and its rent 4500 per month. And food expensive seprate. We are four roommate sharing one room in PG.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network and senior student are very helpfull and ragging is strictly banned in our college. Placement cell is supported our college youth for jobs.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is started from beginning of month of December. In morning. I have to get up early and go to college for exam.

Faculty

The faculty of college is very help full to do task and fir learning. Specially thanks for my hod of ECE department who always inspired me to learn something new.

Life in Panjab university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course cirriculum is good it is designed in perfect manner. Course contains all good subjects which give us knowledge and real life experience like how life goes and what problems are going to happen and how to solve them in real life . Although teaching is good but i must say we should be given some more practical knowledge so that we can relate more imaith real life. Exams are of moderate level not easy not difficult if you have done your studies in a good and thorough manner.

I think the course curriculum could have been better because it had subjects and topics that we have already covered in bachelors so there was no point for them in the masters. But few subjects were new to me and i had to do a lot of work done to get through them.

Placement Experience:

the placement cell at the Centre for Master of engineering Studies and Planning is available here. our collage works So hard to ensure that the students from every batch get an opportunity to intern at some reputed firm( be it research or corporate) as well as are placed well at the end of the course. Most of our final placements are in the form of PPO. Moreover, the batch strength isn't huge, so the probability of any person not getting placed on completion of the course is very less. So it is high percentage about 60-70%. My plans after getting the degree is to take admission in any good company i got. There are pretty much availability for jobs so its so good job opportunities after this degree.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location. I got around 85000 rank in jee mains . It was one of the best option for me considering its ranking and structure. It is a government college and is under Panjab University campus ,hence it has all the facilities and is well connected. Life is good here .
