Study and fun both at par

No bad remarks i love where i'm studying and it is one of the india's top 20 engineering institutes there are some bad things also but i choose to ignore them since they didnt matter much.

I took GATE exam for post graduationscore 434 Environmental engineering was my field of interest and PEC university offers this field and is reputed also thats why i opted for this college.

Since my course is related to environmental engineering and the main purpose of an environmental engineer is to the save the environment,this course contains different aspects of engineering related to environment saving.

Since i'm a postgraduate student we do not go for internship anywhere,as being gate qualified student,the college itself provides us with stipend,i.e. 12400.

As far as placements are concerned its very good for B.E but when it comes to placements for ME,you shouldn't even expect for companies to come around although they come here for postgraduates also but the people doing postgraduation are generally not looking for campus placement.

Its been only 4 months that i spend in this college i have attended only one fest that is cultural fest known as pecfest but there are so many other fests are also there and im waiting for them.

Fee structure is feasible even i can pay from my yearly stipend and still save of my money its nearly 53.5 thousand rupees annually for masters programme.

The sex ratio here is 1000/1000,i think and maybe it is there are so many cultural groups and technical groups in the college,no ragging,i have seen students from jammu to kanyakumari,there no biasing been done to them.overall the campus is pretty good.

The hostel facilities are good as far as i have seen,they arent the best but its ok, they do not have internet access in hostels,no canteen provodong daily needs items,mess food is good. Out of 10 i would give the hostel facilities and food 6.

I havent had any interaction with alumni but they have an old student association known as pecosa very soon i'm also going to be a part of it hopefully i'll help the freshers.

The 100 marks are divided into three parts,one is mid term 20-30% weightage,different for different subjects depends on the teacher,one is end term 40-50% and the rest is quiz,assignments and individual projects.

Faculty of the college is experienced and very good,they always go beyond the scope of curriculum if needed be so as to make sure the students get the required knowledge for the curriculum and the for the work in field also.
