Remarks

Good faculty but not upto mark infrastructure. Good placements etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As the course have all the relevant subjects which is having some or other applications. The most interesting fact about the studies which is required by every student if he/she want to access his/her studies is that that what we study in theory is directly applicable in practical. Each and every subject has its own practical so that what we study can be visualised by us and this is very useful for the students who want persue Thier carrier in research sides. Each and every faculty is highly knowledgeable and always provide their best to us. Next is about the placement cells as there are many saminars and different scholarships are being provided to eligible candidates but their is an interpruneur ship cells providing placements to different companies and the most common one is niti aayog many of students are getting their internship here and then has been provided with certificate of excellence along with the internship experience. The college provides us many ways to access our faculty and to get one complete information about each and every events to be secduled by them.

Placement Experience

4

Yes there are many companies which are providing internship and placement on our college and we get to know about his by saminars and discussion. There is one interprenuarship cell which is providing the students the best way to get their selection by preparing them for interviews. The companies provides a fair chance to every eligible candidates and according to their work experience and goods they are being selected. Every year our college provides the placement upto 82% and to each and every company. Many pronound campanies like HCl, Wipro, stellar and many more are taking part in placement of students. There are different steps to be followed by the candidate to get into any campany by getting his /her documents verified by the head department of that particular institutions. And after the completion of process they are being appointed to their most suitable position.

College Events

4.5

In every field their are different societies which take account for every certain events. Like in case of technology their is society which undertake the all innovative ideas of the students and provides them a platform for their execution of their innovation. Then Their is debating society called 'TARK' which executes the debating nature of students and they are being rewarded as the students get a competition between the students of other colleges also. Then Their are two cultural society named 'DHUN' and 'MYAIRA' providing students a way to have their talents shown which is the singing and dancing society of college. The most famous society of our college is 'DHWANI' the acting and drama society of our college which shoots the talent of students to overshow themselves in various platforms and made the college to be proud on them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is accepted thorough online mode only so that any worng action can't be taken by the college administration. The fees is really feasible as it is being made in this way that every student can get their knowledge in very renound amount. The college also provides the fees back if cancel the admission.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college offers the students with different scholarship related to their field and provides the scholarship on the basis of the talent of candidates. The application is thorough online mode the eligibility criteria must be covered by the candidate to get scholarship and the scholarship is been provided in different manner either in monthly basis aur on annual basis also. The process of application is simple and the document required by the them is needed to be submitted.

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio in our college is nearly the same for both the sexes and their is 1% wave to girl candidate in some of the courses. Their is proper faculty which provides the execution to sports, cultural festival, debates, robotics and different innovative programs for students having a creative mind. Their are very strict regulations for any discrepancies on the basis of caste, religioun, gender etc. Even their is a woman empowerment society known as 'SHASKT' and committee which undertake the issues for any abuse to any student under College premises. And their is a special society which is very silently working for any raging related issues if any.

Hostel Facilities

4

No, I have not opted for hostel as my home is near to my college and I do regular up down to the college but from my knowledge the college have very good hostel facilities and proper rooms and Their security. There are around 8k seats for the students in hostel. The facility provide by the hostel is very good in terms of food sanitation etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the only helpline in college for us for getting notes nd for getting the information about the faculty is our alumni and senior they really help in every prominent manner and provides us with different notes with supplementary books etc.

Admission

First of all the Delhi university have a very vast admission process as it requires each and every documents to be verified and once a student clears of the cutoff he/she becomes eligible for taking admission the most remarkable thing is that if any discripancy is seen in verification of documents their will be very strict action towards the holder. This is taking around hours to verify the complete documents of one student and this is being done under very helpful and unexceptional service of administration. Now about the course, I have opted for Bsc program Life sciences as this is the only course which provides access to all entrance after graduation and if provides vast knowledge about each and every subject which enhances the innovative and intellectual property of students under highly qualified teachers and professors.

Faculty

4.5

Total number of lectures for every subject is properly secduled. As I have mentioned that whatever the students study in theory have its complete study in practical so as to complete visualisation of subject. But what is the required thing is that many of the students in our college are not able to get relevant industry experience or certifations as it is just limited to some of the students which are more on alert about all the event. But what is not present is the non availability of this certification to each and every student.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
