Remarks

I was interested in Electronics and Communication. This is a Women's college. Very good placement and training. Near my house. Convenient to travel. Very good staff and teachers. This is also a Government Aided college.

Course Curriculum Overview

College syllabus works on KTU university syllabus. No, not enough industrial exposure. Faculties are really good. Suresh. V.R from Maths department and Shiju P.P from ECE department are very good staffs.

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is really good in our college. Since it's a Women's college different companies seeking only for women, appoints quite good amount of students from our college. Placement cell is very good and effective. We are provided with effective placement training.

College Events

We have technical and cultural fests every year for 3 days each. They are very big and famous. So many students and people come for fun and also for participating in events. We have cultural events as well as technical events.

Campus Life

We have a sports team - athletic team, cricket team and basketball team. Wifi is available but not for students, though!! Library is pretty good and big. Equipments are really good, expensive and high quality

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

Reality of College life

My 1st priority was this college and I've successfully achieved that. I've chosen this college mainly as it's near my home town and this college have 3rd position over Kerala for pass result percentage. I have never got rejection from any college as this college was my first priority. For admission process the students must wants to clear keam exam and those who got higher rank will get the seats. Other than keam exams NRI seat and spot admission are there as a few number. Cut off can vary every year depends on the number of students and their ranks....Read More

My college LBSITW is a government controlled self financing engineering college . It is managed and controlled by LBS centre for science and technology , a government organisation .
