College review

The college is good but the campus life is not so fancy.

The Course Curriculum and Exam Structure is fine and relevant.The procedure are research-driven and fair.It helps the students to be a better professional. Every aspect of various branches are taught to them with proper theory and practical classes. They also gives interesting homeworks.

The placement is fine and well deserved.There are many internship opportunities provided to the students.

There are many events held in our college. Recently there was the college fest Estacia and UEM marathon. There was gaming and sports matches. Snooker, football, cricket, table tennis are available during the fests. Olympiads are being organised frequently and cultural and technical fest are frequently celebrated in a year.

The fees structure is legit and bearable for the course of engineering. They accept card payment and online payment as well and the amount is divided into years and not taken together in a whole. That makes it easy for the students to afford and pay.

The upes has an entrance exam through which scholarship is available and for M.Tech students based on the gate score they are given stipend, if the percentile is above 70 they are given a stipend of12400 per month

The gender ratio is fair. Life is good. Labs are well maintained and furnished. Sports like snooker,table tennis, carrom, football, basketball, cricket are provided by the college. Competitions on robotics,quiz, Olympiads are often organised and workshops are held.

The senior students are very much helpful and the campus follows the rules of anti ragging and hence no students are harassed.

There was an entrance exam in the month of April and it was fairly conducted with a computer based test at their main office building in salt lake Kolkata. The test was held during the daytime and many students appeared for the test. There was mineral water provided by them.

The faculty members are very much helpful and understanding. They are like elder brother and sister to the students guiding them through. Faculty members are well educated and imply modern methods of teaching during the classes. They also help in solving doubts via social media.
