Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course has changed from this year as some changes are made in the syllabus. The curriculum consists of mainly 4 subjects which are pretty easy if you study them well. We have 2 or 3 internal exam depending on the teacher of each subject and 1 external exam of each subject.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college is very effective as they are providing unanimous internship and job opportunities to choose from. Also we have many reputed companies visiting our college these include KPMG,Deloitte,bain and many more.

College Events

The events celebrate in our college varies from small scale to large scale. The events celebrated in our college include teacher day,independence day,farewell,freshers and our very own college fests. We have 2 annual fests zistatva and reverie.

Hostel Facilities

Gargi does not have hostel near the college so a student has to look for a pg in the green park area where our college is located. Pg are pretty good but cost more as it is in the more posh area of delhi.

Admission

My admission in the gargi college took place through my class 12 percentage in which best 4 subjects score is taken into the consideration. We first have to fill a form online at du portal and then go to the college according to the criteria mentioned to complete our admission process.

Faculty

The faculty of the college has many years of experience in the field of teaching and have excellent methods to teach different subjects to the students. The teachers are always ready to help the students and clear their doubts by taking tut slots.

Actually the 3 discipline core subjects are truly important and relevance to my course. However the skill enchantment course and value addition course, even EVS taught this semester barely helps. That sometimes even felt like a burden. Still choosing the right GE, major is useful. I enjoy that... going through.

Reality Check

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

MY COLLEGE - HEAVEN AND HELL

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I find thr course curriculum quite relevant. Geography is a very dynamic and practical subject and our course is designed that way to provide students a comprehensive knowledge of the course. I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit

Gari College has given endless memories!!

I obviously like every girl in India wanted LSR but 790 was the cut-off for LSR and for Gargi it was 772. I missed my mark by 6 numbers or percentile or else I would have been reviewing LSR currently.
