Very good college

Good college and very good for btech persons not too good for mtech students and then it is also good college for phd students research facilities are also available there and teachers are well qualified

Based on personal experience i liked this course very much. Exam pattern is also good three quiz are taken in one sem which carry average weightage and also one mid sem is there. Assignments are also there followed by end sem exam

Placement are not too good for post graduation students but are very good placement records for under graduation students. Stipend is also given gate qualified students. Also phd education is also available

Many events are celebrated in the college many inter departmental fest are there. Alumini meet and also sports meet, and one of the biggest fest of Chandigarh is PECFEST WHICH IS hosted by pec college

Fee structure is good for gate qualified students for masters but high for non gate students and also btech fees is 70000 per sem also hostel fees is 70000 per year. It is not too high considering rest of colleges

I have got through the gate exam in water resources engineering and then the stipend fixed by mhrd for gate exam students are given to students 12400 per month which is not much in Chandigarh like Ut

Sports activities are also good. Everyone can participate in sports events and who will perform can go in college team for inter college and inter university matches sponsored by college itself and als

Alumni information is also very good of college many alumni are officers in various organisations alumni home 20 20 matches are also taken there which make people feel nostalgic and can induce a very good feeling

I got admitted through Gate exam and then undergoing through a centralised counselling CCMT and on the basis of that i got this college. It was a easier process based on the choice of branch. And according to choice i got my branch

Faculty is also very good and highly qualified and cooperative and also most of the faculty are from upsc and well experienced. They also adopt very new teachings techniques which are teaching through e classes
