Remarks

Positivity is the knowledge it imparts and its exposure and the timing of classes which is 6am to 9:50 so u have whole day left for other professional course like ca cs cma and other vocational course like cfa frm, disadvantage is their strictness and attendance criteria and clashing of semester exams with professional exams

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course follows a cbcs system and have 6 semester which is conducted twice a year once in june and secondly on november, it is way different than normal bcom course of calcutta university and hence its autonomy is justified, inner development is imparted in this college

Placement Experience

4.5

St xaviers college is known for the placement package it provides to freshers and it is usually high bcoz the exposure and all round development provided in this three years is too good, average salary package is 5 lacs per annum and max it can go to 22 lacs per annum which depends on your inner skill and attitude towards the corporate world, many big firms such as pwc delloite tata, reliance and many more big companies

College Events

4.5

Every year the cultural fest named xavotsav takes place at the end of january which is a three day fest in which the dj party and many more are invited, it is biggest cultural fest of east india, management fest are also.held such as insignia in which participants from different fields such as managment marketing soft skills took place

Fee Structure And Facilities

55000 per annum for.morning department which is paid quarterly, it may be feasible for some category and may be expensive for some other bcoz some may feel as per the faculty the fees is way too expensive but the fact is the exposure it provides its return is way too high, if evening departmenr is considered then i can say it is costly which is 135000 per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Hero india motocorp provide scholarship programee in which interview and different rounds are conducted

Campus Life

4

College is filled with extracurricular facilities no doubt at all, even its curriculum provide a course known as foundation course in which it imparts knowledge about religious tolerance and personality development anyone who wants to join sport can join sports department, also ncc and nss are societies which is formed for social.welfare

Alumni/Alumna

Never got an opportunity to interact with alumni, but i have an experience with senior he guided and.inspired me to manage all my college timing and other professional course and said that it is only three years struggle and then life will be sorted

Admission

After passing class 12 examinations each and every guy used to have a dream of studying in one of the best college of india, so i applied for this college, Criteria is english + maths + best2 other subjects, and the cut off is usually 90% and then an interview process is conducted which is simple and everyone is selected, it just a formality

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is mediocre, some are highly professional but that depends on your luck, only the HOD of the respective department is best , but the best thing is teachers are punctual, and still if we compare the fuculty is way better than any other college

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
