Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the curriculum as useful and relevant because it covers important subjects like accounting, business and finance which help me choose this course. It prepares well for higher studies but real world practical exposure could be better.
Internships Opportunities
Internship option are available mostly in the final year. Some local companies, NGOs and small finance firms offer roles like accounting intern, marketing intern and data entry support. A few internship give a small stipend.
Placement Experience
Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total duration of my B.com programe is 3 years and the fee is paid annually. In the first year I paid Rs.12281 which included tuition fees, developement fees, liabrary charges, GYM fees etc and college seminar fee Rs.1900 means Net fee is 14181. The expected fee for whole course is around 50000-55000. Student from reserve catagory such as SC and ST pay around 9000-10000. Scholarship such as post matric are available based on eligibility
Campus Life
My capus life exprience has been nice and memorable, The college has annual festival like NAVRANG usually held around December and other culture or academic events through year. Sports and extracurrucular activities are avilable and student cam join and enjoy the event
Admission
I choose this college mainly because it was close to home, affordable and had a good reputation for commerce. I applied to a few other colleges but this college felt like most suitable option in term safety and fees.
Faculty
The number of teachers is enough for the class size and most of them are friendly and easy to talk to. If we have doubts we can ask them after class and they teache slowly with example and that makes the subject easy
Interview Experience
No I did not face any group discussion, interview or written test for admission. The process was simple and based only on merit from class 12 marks. I just filied the online form uploaded my documents and waited for the cutoff list
Night Life
Nightlife around the college is simple and mostly calm since the campus and facilities close by evening. The library and cafataria usually shut by 5-6 PM and there are no late night campus activities .
