Remarks

College has one of the best crowd you will witness in du. The infrastructure of the college is average but new buildings are getting constructed so no issues of it. Overall a good college to invest your money and 3 years to get knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is sought of a professional course and having a good maths, economics is must. You can't even apply for the entrance of you haven't studied maths. The course is all about applying the economic concepts and relations in corporate and finance world. You will get in depth knowledge of economics, statistics, accounting, finance by theoretical and practical knowledge. If You have have interest in these subjects then you will enjoy it. It is bit of a harder side as compared to bcom(Hons) and economics (Hons) offered by du.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are average. Do not expect really great placements. You will get an average of 3 to 3. 5 lacks per month. You have to enroll in societies and have to mentain good CGPA for getting a good placement.

College Events

4.5

Societies like fic, mercedeo and others organise their annual fest in finance management and other respective fields. Annual fest, Freshers and other cultural events held in college as well. Annual fest Tatva is quite big and famous and you will find best crowd of du.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for this course ranges from 23000- 25000 per annum. As bbe is a self financed course so you to give extra fees as compared to courses like bcom and economics where the fees is around 8000 per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can avail merit cum means scholarship from college but you have to mentain good score and attendance of about 67% or more. Du offers others scholarships. Do not expect the scholarship like full fee refund.

Campus Life

3

College is well equipped with computer labs and sports facilities. As college has many sports to offer like football, basketball, cricket. Badminton, etc. There are societies for dance, music and other cultural activities.

Hostel Facilities

2

There is no hostel facility in the college or nor you will find in most of the colleges in du. You have to live in pgs and private accomodations. Rents for them is economic ranges between 8000 to 12000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors can be very helpful but you have to mentain good relations with them. They will tell you which optional subjects are easy, provides you notes and readings. It's all depends on you that how will you get benefits from them.

Admission

Because I have got less percentage in 12th standard, so I gave the du Jat entrance test to got the admission in college. I secured a rank. BA(Hons) Business Economics was allotted to me inCollege of vocational studies, university of Delhi.

Faculty

3.5

Overall faculty is good. You will encounter with some of the best teachers. There are some teachers with whom you will suffer to understand the concepts but overall faculty is good. You have to mentain good relations with teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
