Remarks

I would give positive rating since the basic thing which is expected from a college is quality placements, which they provide undoubtedly. So to sum up you must take admission in this college if you only study oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Well for a research point of view the college is very far from perfection. The exams are on a semester basis. In every semesters you will have 2 months of exam in every 6 months. Definitely B. tech is quite hectic and if you have joined it then you know what you will be expecting throughout the course. A quick trip: If you study for 2 hours every single day from the starting of the semester then you won't face any problem aor any kind of pressure trust me on this.

Placement Experience

4

Last year i. e in year 2019 we had out first placement of B. tech since the college was opened in 2015. I must say the placement session was quite unexpected. For a new college giving it's student around 85-90% placement is phenomenal according to my point of view. Also many eligible students received 2-3 job offer me from TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, CTS and many more. Till present date the college do provide internships but not a paid one. However if you are talented then based on your merit you can grab as many internships you can (Paid and unpaid both)

College Events

2.5

Trust me on this when I say this that please don't expect a good social life out here. They only focus on curriculum and not on extracurricular activities. Of technical cultural activities are seem every year but Don't expect much in this.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Free structure is 60, 000/- per semester and for the newbies it is 85, 000/- per semester. So yeah it is expensive but if you are in a private college you have to bear this. If you can afford the fees then it's fine you. can go ahead and get admitted.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't come across any such facility provided by the college. But you can inquire about the same if you having problem of taking loans directly from banks due to any reason. I did not take loan so genuinely speaking I don't have any idea about the loan facility.

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio is around 60:40 for Boys: girls in this students participation is also extremely good in cultural events as seen. A good harmony a seen among students. No politics is seen as such. No type of discrimination or prejudice is seen in this University.

Hostel Facilities

2

Don't opt for the hostel of UEM. They are miserable trust me on this. Search for a good paying guess (Pg) or some rented apartment. The Hostels provided by them was miserable since there was a electricity cut of around 7-8 hours everyday also food was not consumable at all.

Alumni/Alumna

Definitely they are based on your relationships with them. Every one is helpful out here. You must give in some effort and input to make the first move and make friends. So you won't have any problem at all. Only if you are an introvert then you will have to focus on communication skills.

Admission

There are 2 process of Admission. First is on the basis of Jee mains and the second is IEMJEE which is conducted by them in their one a campus. I got admitted on the basis of my IEMJEE marks. First I had applied for the admission and they directed me to the exam. The exam was not that tough as compared to Jee mains. I had made up my mind to take up Engineering from my 10+2 itself. But since my Jee Maine marks weren't sufficient to get into a good college so I had to look for alternatives and then I came across this wonderful opportunity. After qualifying for the test you will be directed to the campus where the admission procedure is done and branch is given according to the marks you scored.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is the best thing about the college I must say. Most of the teachers are so qualified that you tend to think that why aren't they teaching in some government colleges. Most of the faculty are from Institute of engineering and Management, Kolkata (IEM). IEM is a reputed college since 27 long years so you can guess the level of professionalism during college placements. So I would rate 10 out of 10 for faculty

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).
