Positive - Good alumni, helpful seniors, almost no ragging, Good facilities for sports, Meghalaya is very near from hear which has many tourist places. Negative - Some buildings are under construction, Average faculty. Very good place to enjoy. You will surely love the college.

The Course Curriculum that is following here is not too good or too bad. Actually it is quite old I think. The exam structure is good, that only the important subjects will be have exams. The syllabus that will be covered here will be very useful for exams.

Our college has very descent placements. The average for CSE is 11 lakhs. And the other branches has an average of 7 lakhs. The highest package is 32 lakhs last year. And this is improving every year. Yeah, our college provide internship. But it is quitely depends on your coding knowledge. As much as you code that much you can get the stipend.

Every year the college hosts many events under the leadership of the GYMKHANA UNION BODY. They conduct events for everyone which only needs your participation in them. The TECNOSIS and INCANDESCENCE are the two major fests that will be conducted every year. The SRIJAN is a good opportunity for new ideas.

The fee is very less. The Hostel and Mess fee is 25, 500/- per semester. And the college fee will depend on your category. For SC, ST students, the college fee is ZERO. And for general category students, the fee is 65, 000/- per year.

We can get the loan by the certificate produced by the college stating that the student is studying in the college. And we can get some scholarships by participating in the events conducted by the college.

There is almost every sport here. Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho kho, Badminton, Tennis, Skating has their own grounds to play with. And the roads inside the college are good for cycling. As the nature is good you will love to cycle here. There are clubs like Dance, Drama, Trekking, Music which are quite good. The labs are not too good. You can go to the Computer lab directly and can code at any time in a day. The Chemistry lab is as bad as everywhere. Not too bad it is but boring until you are given SULPHURIC ACID to use. In the Electronics lab, nothing will work there. And in Mechanical lab, you will have nothing to do, but just listen to the teacher, but at the end you are asked to do a job, that's it.

The Hostel facilities are quite good. But the main problem is you can't get hot water in winter. There will be only two students per room. Overall rating for Hostel is 8/10. As Silchar is a cool place there will be no need of AC here.

The alumni network in our college is good. We have great seniors which are helpful in lot of ways. They will clarify our doubts. And help us to score more. They are the motivation for us. Surely you will get a help from them.

JEE MAINS is the entrance exam for the college. The required documents will be posted by NTA in their website. Those documents should be submitted here at the college at the time of councelling. The admission process is quite easy for everyone. There will be nearly 8-10 steps in which documents should will be verified through steps. The income certificate that you should submit should be a FAMILY INCOME CERTIFICATE, this is must.

The rating that I will give to the faculty is 7/10. In first year, they are average. But in further years, they are good. Actually the seniors are more helpful than the faculty and staff. You will be taught one lesson by one teacher and other lesson by other teacher.
