Remarks

Good management. They do the maximum to bring the best out of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Since I'm doing PG under VTU, college goes by all the rules and regulations of the university for every internals to the final exam. All the requirements of the student data, academic evaluation is updated on time without delay. The student evaluation is strict and apt. They train us in other terms like organising tech fest, international conference, paper publications etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

Companies which came up for recruitment include Infosys, Wipro, SAP Labs, Eurofins etc. The recruitment drive usually starts with an introduction speech in which they brief about the company's details, expectations etc and the procedure for the day. This is followed by an online aptitude exam, GD, technical round, HR round, etc. This proce6 varies from company to company. Students are given placement training from 1yr of B.E for every alternative sem and core of the training is in 7th and 8th sem.

College Events

5

Events include Technical fest, Cultural fest, Project expo, Industrial visits, Seminars, Guest lectures, FDP, Hands-on Training, Quiz, Department events, Sports meet, Art and craft activities. The tech fest and the cultural fest is open to all the colleges to participate, whereas other events are college level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fees are around 40000 which might sound infeasible but actually worth the money. They provide all the facilities as per the breakage of the fees. No additional fees are charged until and unless it is imposed by the university. They provide the mode of payment through bank transfers, debit and credit card, now UPI option as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for any scholarships. But college does provide them based on the eligibility criteria.

Campus Life

5

The campus is clean and neat. It is green and peaceful. Students are allowed to sit in the lawn during break time and other free time. The anti-ragging committee is set up to avoid ragging and other malpractices in and around the college campus. They dont entertain any political or economic show-offs.

Alumni/Alumna

The college maintains a good relationship with the passed out students and the alumni network is really healthy. Alumni come up to college whenever invited and they help the students in terms of placements.

Admission

I did my UG here, through KCET exam and PG through PGCET. The admission process is simple. Counselling session followed by all the document submission and fee payment. Once this is done all the details will be given by the admission counsellor. Students should report to the IT dept of the college to give complete details and information about them and their parents with all the valid proofs.

Faculty

4.5

Well trained and qualified faculties. They take the class based on the university guidelines which includes chalkboard explanation, PowerPoint presentations, NPTEL videos, relevant books and other using other materials. They host seminars, guest lectures and other technical hands-on sessions for making the subject clear.

The courses they offer are not so relative to our stream. We also had questioned this to higher authorities. But they just say that the syllabus is fixed and they cant help . And if we need to pass we have to study those subjects.

Campus placement conditions have improved in IISc after the inception of campus placement cell. Average package is around I would say 25 lpa. Since most of the students go for higher studies from IISc hence, you will see the placement percentage to be low. Personality I am also going for higher studies.
