Remarks

Yes college is very nice in faculty, Study, Placement and Job offer point of view they need to be appriciated also but they are very poor in infrastructure and co-circullar activity specially sports. They should proper grassy ground so the engagenent of student in sport must increases. They are lagging far behind in hostel and its infrastructure also.

Course Curriculum Overview

My college is affiliated from MAKAUT so it follows the couse curriculum given by MAKAUT and in my point of view course structure is good for midolker student. It is not so easy and not so tuff but few more subjects must be added according current trande and exam structure is good in my view as we have to give 2sem exam in a year within each sem there is 2 mid sem and some online test also happen which keep check the study routine of student.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunies are good all most every eliglible student get placed few of them also get 2-3 job offers but most of the companies are IT sector company and Bulk recuiter. Internship is provided to few students only.

College Events

Events like Tech fest, cultural fest, Sports day, Freshers days, Farewell, Coding olympaid are celebrated every year in my view they are not so good very less student get envolve in these celebration they are not upto mark according to me.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is almost feasible we are paying 52k per semester but it should be better if it was 40-45k according to college infrastructure and we also have to pay 1k to 1.2k as examination fee to university which must be added in college fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed any scholarship or loan facility from the college but few of my friend has taken the loan for study basically i dont have too much idea on it. Yes i have also heard that there quota for financial backword student who has to pay very less fee.

Campus Life

Labs are ok in this college everybody get chances to perform their lab activities and also managed very properly but condition of sports are not so good there is lack of sports facility and ground in this college.

Alumni/Alumna

This is totally ragging free college so intraction with senior students is nice. As i mentiod it is ragging free college one can intraction with their senior freely and fearlessly. Yes seniors are helpful

Admission

I got admission via. wbjee rank. I had got 2568 rank in wbjee 2016 and according to this rank and my preferance i got ECE in IEM, kolkata during wbjee conuncelling held at time. But as it is a private college few students also take admission via management quota.

Faculty

Faculties are good they try to intract with student try to shortout the problem if anyone is facing. Yes few are not upto mark but most of them is nice and take their class daily and try to finish their syllabus on time.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
