The management of the college is very good and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Bachelor of Commerce course has 6 semesters and each semester has 4 Subjects like management account, cost accounting, corporate accounting etc. The course is very good and fair for everyone. The curriculum was very well-groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

Approximately 20 companies have taken the placement drives which includes KPMG, ey, Wipro etc. Their recruitment process includes online test the following interview.

College Events

The festival in our college is very big which includes two major events. One in the starting of the year and the other one in the end of the year. Last year we had such the famous Punjabi singer as our guest. We enjoyed a lot and danced a lot on his songs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The average fees of my college is 10000 ped year which is very feasibility for everyone and also for those who cant pay the fees due to financial crisis they can pay less fees or waive off their fees according to the colleges programme fees procedure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the scholarship is provided to the students who scored extremely good marks in the semester and are given a cash prize.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good as there is Satyniketan near where there are lots of restaurants where we can eat and enjoy. The gender ratio is also good which is approximately equal. The labs are good, sports competition are regularly held including the debates.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of our college are the best. From day one they were very good and supportive from giving books to valuable advice.

Admission

I was always interested in commerce and that's why I chose the Bachelor of Commerce. But as we know it is always good to do it from the best institutions so I filled the Delhi university form. The procedure started in June by filling the Delhi university form and then getting the admissions in July.

Faculty

The assessment of my faculty is very good in our college. The tentative number of lecture in my course 4 per day. The average age of my teachers is 45 and approximately everyone has PhD degree. The lecturers hold relevant industry experience and certificates.

good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.

I was made to prepare a list of colleges that provided the course that I opted for. So I made a list of all thr college in accordance to my convenience and what I wished to get into. My CUET Score was 724/800 and I was allotted Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College in the first round. The admission process did not take longer than 15 minutes. I had to take my 10th, 12th Marksheet along with my Aadhar card, Transfer Certificate and CUET Application to the Admin office and that was it.
