Summer of '18

The college is full of positive vibes with excellent faculties, infrastructure and platform to explore self not only in academics but in every form. No one goes unhappy after a day. There is plenty of green in the campus.

The oldest and perhaps the best ceramic BTech college in India. It is autonomous. And the course is very specific with experienced faculty. Industrial training and visits are very often been done. Not only bookish knowly but field work and lab experience is also nicely taught to the students. The exam papers are very specific to today's work. Not old problems are asked. The exam and grades is fair. Knowledge based and conceptual questions are more Scrutiny and doubt clearing is also done.

The only college for ceramic in India which gave 100% placement for many batch of students. All the well known companies like Vedanta, Saint Gobain , Imerys , TATA and many more are regular recruiters. Majority of students have atleast 3 industrial visits and training on field which is utmost important. Training is also arranged abroad. Stipend is around 5k-6k per month depending on company.

There are more than 20-25 events mainly organised by students. Majorly Alumni meet which is now an international symposium includes industrial meet and fair. There is tech fest and cultural fest for 4 days having a renowned guest performer every time. Sports , Saraswati Puja , Biswakarma Puja, freshers , farewell , teachers day many more. All are organised by the senior and junior students in a team.

Fees for the course is very less. Each Semester fees is 3000 and exam fee 1000. As it is a government college. It is Fully aided. Also there is provision for many scholarships based on the yearly income and merit of the student.

Scholarships can be availed which are declared by the government. They are easily approved as this is a government college. There is full fee waiver and half fee waiver , and many more scholarship schemes specific based on the condition.

The facilities are very good. There are plenty of extra curricular activities , sports. A separate music room and photography club. Cultural club is also there. Gardening is done. Sports like volley ball, carrom and table tennis is very popular. Labs are filled with modern and updated equipments.

There is a newly built hostel with new rooms. Fresh air. And big filed for cricket , badminton, football. There is volley ball and badminton court separately as well. Being in the mid of the city there are plenty of shops and places to hangout as well.

Almost 60% of the recruitment and training is being leaded by the alumnus. The alumni network is very strong and comprises of VPs and GMs of leading companies who are actually the helpful alumni of the college.

From Joint Entrance result each applied for the college and they took out a merit list and admission done on rank basis. There was no first come first serve. Admission is very justified and only the best students get the chance.

We have the best ceramic faculties of India. There are plenty of running projects in Association with Government as well as industries is being done by the faculties. They introduce the students into it for learning. They are friendly , qualitative and up to date. New papers being published very year, students are trained and sent to conventions as well.
