Good too big a campus to enjoy amazing faculty college life full of activities good hostels and mess food. Many opportunities to experience the industry environment. Bad too costly lesser number of scholarships given.

I took IIT JEE mains exams to get into this college. I scored 162 marks in it. This college was chosen based on its high reputation in the country and a good placement record of the Computer Science and Engineering branch which is the branch I currently am having.

Course curriculum is rigorous and keeps us busy at all times of the semester. It is also very much relevant to the current industry needs and trends and also keeps on improving with every new year.

It was great. Learned a lot and enjoyed as well. Looking forward to do an internship again in the next summer vacations. Companies like Hewlett packard,samsung,Microsoft, Myntra,Delloite etc visited our campus and offered upto 12 Lacs offered by Microsoft. Stipend was as high as 90,000 month.

Our college data proves that almost all the students get placed in reputed companies by the end of their 4 year degree especially Computer Science and Engineering students. Companies like Samsung, Delloite,Microsoft,HCL,Oracle,ZS Associates etc visit our campus and many students gets high package offers from these companies as high as 15-16 Lacs annum.

Our college has the following fests Saturnalia it is the cultural fest and many students from all over India come to participate in this fest. Aranya it is the technical fest and many students from all over the country participate in it. Thaparlympics Intra college sports fest of our university.

No loans availed. Though I got a scholarship for Rs 10000 year from the government for my meritorious performance in class 12 boards.

Campus life is amazing. We have many active groups and clubs and people participate in them very enthusiastically I am also the joint secretory of the fina arts and photography society FAPS of my college. There are many events happening every day in the campus and all the students enjoy them.

We have around 12 hostels of which 7 are for boys and 5 for girls. Hostel fees varies for around 25,000 INR per semester to 38,000 INR per semester excluding mess bill which ranges from 2000 to 3000 Rupees per month. Hostel seats are in abundance so no ne

Alumni network is amazing. Pass outs from Thapar University are placed on top-notch positions in many MNCs around the globe and their are frequent interaction sessions held by the university which help us to learn from their experiences and set our goals and aims high.
