Remarks

The only negative remark i can found about our college is its location. It is on a remote village. And the facilities like good restaurants shops etc. are very far from our college. Also there is some distance to walk from bustop to our college which will tire students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

We have a well updated course curriculum. We are doing our degree under well reputed university called kerala technological university. And in every semester,we have theory exams as well as practical exams.Total mark a student can get for each subject is 150. Which includes internal and external assessments. In internal assessment there is 50 marks, which includes 2 internal examinations out of 20 and 1Assignment is having 10 marks. And we have to get 23 out of 50 inorder to attend public examination. Public examination is out of 100 and 45 is the pass mark. And the important thing is that we have to pass both the assessments seperately to pass the subject.

Placement Experience

4.5

I think our college is one among the top 5 colleges in kerala. We have good placement statistics.Usually the placement drives starts in the beginning of 4th years. And in the light of previous years, atleast 80% students are getting placed in various companies. Also there is internship drives which will be happening at the end of 3rd year. And many students have got stipend in the range of 10,000-20,000 rupees.

College Events

4

The main event is our tech fest named as 'excel'.And 'excel' was India's 2nd ever techfest among 100+ colleges. Also we have college day in every year.We have arts day in every year which can give lot of good memories to us.And also we will celebrate some small events like ethnic day, kitchen day , valentines day etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yeah it is feasible for me.I have to pay just inly 35,000 per year. And i think this is far lesser than that of private colleges. And also I am getting 25,000 scholarship for minority students. So in effect i have to pay just only 10,000 rupees per year and which is not a big expense.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah im availing a scholarship called MCMS which is nothing but 'merit cum means'.The pay for a non-hostler student is 25,000 per year and for a hostler it is 30,000.The eligibility criterias are, student must be in minority community, annual income must be below 2.5 lakhs and there shouldn't be any backlogs on each semesters.

Campus Life

3.5

Our college is always entertaining extracurricular active.Because our motive is not to mould a studious monkey but to mould a good personality. We have the ground facilities for every sport events. And also the faculty help us to improve our skills and also gives confidence to take part many competitions among the colleges. Also we have good lab facilities and good equipments to do projects etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

I am not a hostler by the way.But i wished many times to live hostel for atleast 1month.Because it would be a good experience. The infrastructure of the hostel is just amazing. And they have good mess facilty and good food menu also.So i will rate 4 out of 5.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah they also gives lot of supports to us.Because they will ment us what all things to do on tech fest arts fest etc.And they will help us mentally as well as financially for the smooth conduction of the programmes.

Admission

We have kerala entrance examination based on maths, physics and chemistry(PCM).Total mark a student can get is 960.And also they will consider our higher secondary PCM.And by normalising our entrance score and higher secondary PCM they published a rank list among 1 lakh students. And i got 4927 rank which was enough to get admission in our college as merit through online allotment process.

Faculty

4

Very experienced sincere personalities. And always entertains asking doubts. We can be able to contact them on any time with out any hesitation. They will give supports in practical sessions also which will help to improve our practical skills too.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
