Remarks

The college is very strict about your behavior and the dresses you wear. They have very strict security and you should never mess up with the security. they have more than hundred cleaning staffs and they really care a lot for the cleanliness.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

This is a very new course. We rarely find English with Cultural Studies in India. This is all about a different culture. This is a two-year program with four semesters and before mid sem, we have CIA 1. And after midsem another CIA 2 and then the semester. This is the exam structure for the two years.

Placement Experience

5

Placements are pretty good. Though I have never appeared I know that they give proper certificates and proper arrangements for the placements. The placements are not fake. They have good companies who come for placements.

College Events

5

Raabta, Drishti, genesis, qierencia, Aloha, Aroha, aarambh. There are few workshops and also events happening the whole year. Basically, the undergraduate students participate more rather than the pg students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As compared to other private institutions the fee structure is okay. They charge less. But other expenses are more. you have to have a laptop because all the readings will be uploaded in the respective Google classroom.

Fees and Financial Aid

They don't have good facilities for loans and scholarships. This is a private institution so they have a south Indian bank attached to the college. They give bank accounts for each student in SIB with atm cards issued.

Campus Life

5

The institution has a great arena for sports and festing in particular. Badminton court, Table Tennis court, Football ground, Basketball ground and Atheletics. The facilities provided here is great and very satisfying

Hostel Facilities

5

Bannerghatta campus doesn't have a hostel for girls. They have a hostel only for boys. In the main campus, they have a hostel for both boys and girls. So for Bannerghatta campus students, we have to stay in private hostels and pgs.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah. They are very helpful in giving information regarding the college. They also help personally. U can have personal contact with them but you should be very careful whom are you talking to. You should not be more close.

Admission

I had to sit for the interview and also with proper documents mentioned to submit. We had to write one exam and after showing the documents the student will be selected for the interview process. After the interview, the result will come out in 24hours and then the admission date will be given.

Faculty

5

Faculties are very experienced and very particular. They are strict about the readings they share. We have to read the texts given before coming to the class. They will mark you depending on your class participation.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester where you have to do an internship project for the semester based Most of the companies that visit are from the news organisations like Bangalore Times, The Hindu, Mint, Times of India, Deccan Herald and other companies like ITC also visit frequently. I am not quite sure about the packages offered.

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 2nd semester, we are constantly notified about any vacancies in any department. The college placement cell sends us notifications through our class monitors or sometimes throyoutlr HOD. Even after the end of our final semester exam, we are added in a group that is specially meant for job opportunities and placements, where they constantly update and notify us. Out of 32 students in our class, a total of 12 students got placement. As for me, my plan is to do PhD in the said field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is relevant for us which helps us to attempt competitive exams. Actually the curriculum changes our mindset and it helps to face the real society. I don't think that improvements needes in curriculum. We get one & half hour for internal tests and 3 hours for sem exams and it is enough foe us to cover whole question paper.

curriculum is extensive and large and some students find it hard to grasp all the knowledge given for the syllabus. it may seem daunting at first but i rather prefer this than having little to nothing to study as it helps me find new things to read which i would have never figured out before.
