The first impression of the college is actually disappointing a bit but eventually you'll love the college. The life at MEC is something which you should experience. It cannot be explained. The sufferings will obviously reflect in your career and life.

Good curriculum but the structure of KTU is disappointing. The end semester exam is out of a score of 100. Additional 50 marks is specified as internal marks, which is divided for the scores obtained by assignments,attendance and series tests.

The college have a placement percentage of more than 75% during the last academic year. Good industrial internship opportunities are provided. The placement cell of the college is very efficient. They provide necessary training also.

During the odd semesters the annual techno managerial fest EXCEL is conducted. Also many technical and non technical events. TEDx talks are conducted. In the even semesters arts event LAYATHARANG and sports CHAKRAVYUH are conducted.

The fee structure is different for different categories. The different categories are State Merit, Management Merit, NRI seat. The fee structure can be varied year by year. Since it is govt self financing college,the fee is higher than fully govt colleges.

There are many scholarships in the college. The college promotes many government scholarships and stipends. Reserved category students can avail many financial aids. The alumni association of the college provides good amount of scholarship for meritorious students.

The college excels in both technical and non technical fields. Many clubs like thanal, thudi , bhoomithrasena etc are active in the campus. The various clubs are meant for the vibrant minds in the campus.

The alumnies of the college provides great support for the college financially. They provide resource support also. The eminent alumnies personalities of the college are very free to interact. They provide good informations. They are mentoring the Juniors.

Cleared KEAM with fair rank and applied for allotment to the collge in the centralised allotment and got allotted in the second phase allotment. Next day reported at the college with the requested documents and certificates.The admission procedure was pretty good. The college management cooperated nicely.

Well experienced having good technical excellence. They provide good training. They are willing to take extra classes for the needful students. They don't hesitate to work extra. Some of the faculties are recognized national level for their excellence. Some are alumnies of the same colege.
