Remarks

The positive side of this college is that it have a effective placement cell and faculty members which ensures that almost all students gets placed in diffrent tear1 firms, or get a chance for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's quite good. IEM is the best college among all other private colleges of eastern india, so it's course curriculum is also best. There are total 8 semester in whole BTech course. In each semester there is one Final exam or major and two minor exams are taken, along with practical exams.Studends are marked in each class through a class test per period.

Placement Experience

All students of this institute atleast gets one job offer, as TCS and CTS are it's mass recruiter. But many students gets 2 or 3 job offers as it also depends on the capabilities of students. Coming to the internship one can get internship easily as it is located in a IT hub. I had also done internship in my 1st year as a UI/UX designer in a start-up of an Alumni. I had got a stipend of 4.5k per month.

College Events

The college celebrates many fests and events such as: Innovacion{it's annual tech fest},Cultural Fest, Ehackon{hacking conference and workshop}, Diffrent workshop atleast one in a month, international Conference, International Olympiads such as IMO, ICO, IPO, IEO etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's not too expensive, but every year there is slight increment in the fee for the new batch. I have charged with a total sum of around 4.2L for four years. During the time of admission I had to pay 80k for the 1st semester, then 49k for 2nd, 50100 for 3rd and so on.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any loan facility provided by the institute or not, but it definitely don't provide any kind of Scholarship. I have availed the loan facility provided by Bihar government through Student Credit Card.

Campus Life

The institute provide a lot of opportunity for the extracurricular activities like sports, marathon , innovation etc. The institute have its own IEDC lab for the development of different kind of innovative projects.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, of cours, they all are quite helpful. Time to time the college invites them to have a alumni meet session. One can get internships and sometime even job offers through them or in their startups.

Admission

I had got the opportunity to take admission in this college through WBJEE, by securing a rank of 3000 in it. I had taken admission for B.Tech by opting stream of information technology.But after the 1st year I was able to change my stream by securing 9.05 GPA.

Faculty

Almost all faculty members are quite knowledgeable, but it differs from department to department. Many faculty are actually Assistant Professor so the quality gets lagged there. But overall they all are good.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
