Awesome environment as it named santiniketan.very peaceful to have a social life.we will really experience peace of mind and soul in santiniketan.very good atmosphere which helps in studying.college library is awesome.

As it is research oriented department, many students will prefer for phd. Placements are less but we can get good jobs near kolkata and in West bengal in many private companies.stipend of 5000 everymonth for every student.and internship opportunities after 1st year.

Santiniketan is famous for visvabharati university because of its culture and heritage.Anandamela during durgapuja if famous.many cultural events like freshers by kala bhavan students, farewell of different departments are very awesome.

Very less fees structure as it is a central university.5000-10000 per month depending on department and the category you belong to. No need to invest more money.university won't ask for other money in any events.

As college fees is very less and accommodation is affordable, students won't prefer for scholarships. University will provide scholarship for students who are in need through university scheme. Other entrance exams conducted by bose institute in kolkata will provide scholarship for West bengal students.

No need to think about extra curricular activities. There are many departments in university and each and every one will give there best in everything. There will be rural development department which cares about development of near villages,separate physical education department, Gym,indole stadium, museum, big playground,ncc,nss,etc

Hostel facilities are good.they are less expensive and affordable for students. It is nearly 2000-3000 per semester for general students and free accommodation for sc st reserved candidates apart from mess.we have to pay for mess separately.nearly 1300-1500 per month in hostel mess

I don't know about alumni as I am fresher.I hope there will be good aluminium department who can help present students to have good future.many seniors and phd scholor will be friendly and will help in internships and to learn many things.

Through jnuceeb entrance exam.there will be a list of 30 universities under jnuceeb entrance only for biotechnology. Qualify jnuceeb, select options of universities, we will be given our qualified university according to rank in entrance, following certificate verification in respective university and joining letter if everything if perfect.
