Remarks

I can't say that our college is perfect. But yes I can say that it is not that college needs to be perfect, it is us students who makes it perfect. And yes I can feel proud in saying that it has so many thing for me that I can't think of any negative remarks. Pardon me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I think it is better then yearly program. The cbcs system is no doubt a good system which gives the option to student which subject except they want to opt during there semester. Exam structure is pretty decent to, they first take all the practical (if a course have) then at the end of each semester they take a paper generally of 70 marks.

Placement Experience

4

We have a placement cell in our college. Of course as chemistry hons. Student I don't get any job opportunities right after graduation but they work very hard for the student of commerce and computer science so that even the pay is low at first they can get some professional experience. Our college also provide scholarship In the field of research also known as 'elite project' and 'star project' in which teachers and students discuss there idea and do some research with the help of there senior. Personally it is quite beneficial for me as I want to in R&D line. Due to these project I can say my confidence and my practical skill are improved.

College Events

3

We celebrate event like Diwali mela, Ncc events also happen, cultural fest, and a fest in which student organize funds and they invite celebrities in our college. That's the best thing about Delhi University.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I can say with proud that my yearly fees is less than todays smartphone cost. Only 9000/-. If you think that this is costly then I can only say that just don't go for graduation. But the major issue is not college fees but to live in pgs(due to there poor service).

Fees and Financial Aid

The best thing our college provide is the saksham scholarship for the reserved classes. They give that much money in the scholarship that a poor child whose father income is below bpl can also accommodate to study with ease.

Campus Life

3.5

Our college is basically a college of sciences so it is more science oriented, which means we have good lab having approximately everything we need but we lack other activities like sports etc. Still our college is trying it's best to do something for it. Hopefully we can achieve what we want.

Hostel Facilities

3

Sorry to say as our college is out of campus, there are no hostel facilities provided by the college. We need to live PGs as there are no better option on hand. But that is the main problem, as the service provided by them like food, water are so bad that a person who is started living alone, far away form family can easily become sick if not cared.

Alumni/Alumna

Ever year our college organises a alumni fest in which we get the opportunity to meet our own college alumnus. The thing which fascinated me is that they have reached to so many heights but they are ground to earth. They talk to us and also tell us what to do and what you can do if you think and become determined about it.

Admission

First Delhi University release there merit list or we can say cut off list. Anyone whose 12th marks are above that cut off marks can select which course they want to opt. As I have a total of 93.6 in pcm, I got the admission in the 8th ranking Acharya Narendra Dev College which comes under Delhi University. At the time of admission they need all of your information like 12th mark sheet, 10th mark sheet, migration certificate etc (self attested copy of every document). If you have all the necessary documents then congrats you become part of Delhi University.

Faculty

4.5

I can't say about all the college which come under DU, but Acharya Narendra Dev College, Chemistry faculty is best. I know that some of the teacher don't have the required experience but that doesn't matter to me. The way they practically relate each and everything with nature and surrounding is the best way of teaching I guess.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
