UP BSc Nursing Admission is based on the UP CNET (Common Nursing Entrance Test) 2004. It is conducted by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU). Candidates clearing the CNET exam can appear in the counselling process.
BSc Nursing is a 4 years undergraduate professional course. Candidates who have completed class 12 from a recognized board in the Science stream with a minimum of 45% marks can apply for UP BSc Nursing admission.

UP BSc Nursing Admission 2025: Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for UP BSc Nursing admission are as follows.
- Candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the time of application.
- Applicants must be from the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects in class 12.
- General category candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks, while reserved category candidates must score at least 40% marks in the class 12 exam
- Candidates from State Open School recognized by the State Government and NIOS recognized by the Central Government with Science and English subjects are also eligible.
- Candidates should be medically fit.
- Colour-blind candidates are also eligible provided they wear colour-corrective contact lenses and spectacles.
- Married candidates can also apply.
