Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2024 is conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). The admission is based on an entrance exam and a counselling process.

Registration for the JCECEB Nursing Entrance Competitive Exam (NECE) 2024 was conducted between August 24 – September 14, 2024. The exam was conducted on September 28, 2024. The first round of the counselling process is ongoing. The provisional seat allotment letter was issued on October 25, 2024. Candidates can report to their allocated colleges for document verification and admission till October 30, 2024. 

BSc Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate program. Interested candidates should have completed 10+2 in Science (PCB) with aggregate marks of 45% to be eligible for the course.

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2024 must know the eligibility criteria before applying. The general requirements are as follows. 

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024.
  • They should have passed 10+2 with Science (PCB) and English Core/English Elective with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks from a recognized board.
  • Candidates appearing in 10+2 in Science conducted by the NIOS with 45% of marks are also eligible. 
  • Candidates should be medically fit.

  • They should click on the List of Competitive Examinations and select BSc Nursing. 
  • They should first register by creating an account.
  • After account creation, they can access the application form and add details in the required fields.
  • They must upload all the documents asked in the application process.
  • Candidates must pay the application fee and submit the application form. 

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Application Fee 2024

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2024 application fee can be paid online via net banking, credit or debit card. Application fees for different categories of candidates are as follows.

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2024: Entrance Exam Pattern

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Entrance Exam (NECE) will be held in the pen-paper mode in test centres of Bokaro, Chaibasa, Daltonganj, Dhanbad, Dumka, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur and Ranchi. Candidates can check the exact test venue mentioned on their admit card. The exam patterns for BSc Nursing are as follows.

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2024: Entrance Exam Result

Jharkhand NECE BSc Nursing entrance exam results is declared on the official website of JCECEB on October 17, 2024. Subsequently, the authorities will release a merit list within 3-5 days of the result declaration. Candidates should enter their application details to check their scores. Jharkhand BSc Nursing entrance exam score card will have the following details.

  • Registration Number.
  • Student’s Name.
  • Father’s and Mother’s Name.
  • Subject wise marks.
  • Total marks secured.
  • Rank and Result Status.

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2024: Counselling Process

JCECEB conducts the counselling process after entrance exam results are declared. Candidates have to qualify Jharkhand Nursing entrance exam can register for the counselling and make choice filling. They will be allotted seat based on their preference, exam scores and the availability of seats. Once given a seat, they have to report at the alloated college for document verification and admission.  

In case more than one candidate receives the same rank and score, then a tie-breaking procedure will be carried out. JCECEB uses a tie-breaker policy to allot seats in a certain order of priority. Tie-breaking will be done in the following priority categories. 

  • Candidates scoring higher marks in Biology.
  • Candidates scoring higher marks in Chemistry.
  • Candidates in the older age group.
  • In alphabetic order of the candidates’ names.

You can access Cinepolis, PVR and Big Cinemas from here, reach CP in 20-30 minutes by metro/private vehicle, and catch a metro from Jhilmil metro station to explore Delhi/NCR.  Campus- UCMS has a beautiful campus, the best among Delhi medical colleges. It has a huge central field where you can play cricket, basketball, football, etc. Boys get single seater hostel rooms from the first year itself. The campus has two 24*7 canteens, a book shop from where you can access all your medical books, an ATM, and a post office.The hospital has undergone renovation, and looks new and well managed. Academics- UCMS offers excellent academics. The faculty is skilled and teaches with sincerity. The Histology Lab in the Anatomy department is really good.  Extracurriculars- UCMS has a sports society, a western dance team, a theme choreography team, a dramatics team, a musical society, a literary society and a medical education unit. You can join any of these. According to me, both UCMS and VMMS are good medical colleges. You can choose the latter if location is a concern to you, otherwise, UCMS is a good choice too.Read more

Ans. AIIMS BSc Nursing 2022 entrance examination date is June 18 . You will be able to get the admit card on 11th June. It is a computer-based test and will be conducted in 150 test centers in 14 cities across the country.  Number of seats available for B.Sc Nursing (Hons.) at AIIMS Delhi is 571. B.Sc Nursing students need to pay a security deposit of INR 1000 for the hostel. Mess fees need to be paid separately. The current mess charges for four meal format fixed menu is around INR 2000.
