Ramanujan College: B.Voc Software Development

Likes

College infrastructure was apt like washroom, Labs, canteen, cafe , classes, all were good.
Social life in the college is fabulous and it gets good if you join the right society.
There are multiple workshops that are run in the campus and they can be from various fields like Economic, IT, Finance. If you are eager you can easily join them regardless of your course.

Dislikes

Course Curriculum needs to be improved, it does reflect itself from the current world requirement.
They don't have designated staff for this particular course, so they borrow from other departments.
Department can be better with extra curricular activities but it does try to do so.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the curriculum on the basis of its heay emphasis on the software development part. It is not really reflects itself in the real-world application, I had to pursue other option to grow my skills. It needs to make it better in the project and application department.They need to work on some real life projects. Frequency of the exams: On the semester basis Nascom exams: Yearly basis Difficulty: Easy

Ramanujan College is a Rhyme!!

Likes

Our college has almost everything in terms of facilities and crowd that rankings doesn't matter but we are hands in hands with other DU colleges.
Placements especially for our vocational course is exceptional as we have most students getting internship and placements from college itself.
We are one of those colleges that have multiple fests.

Dislikes

Definitely some of the faculties as not all are good.

Our placements are great and it begins right from final year as many companies that deals in software or coding are among the companies that gives us job. Creating an IP is what we are taught, so some start their own startups too and things are going well for them too.

DU Life

Likes

Infrastructure is really good as compared to other colleges of DU
Canteen teast is also good in reasonable prices
Staff is really supportive in your personal and professional life

Dislikes

Sports staff is rude and you can play after 2
Classes not regularly taken by the teachers

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of the B.Voc. Software is Awesome and it gives you 60% theoretical and 40% practical knowledge and is equivalent to a BCA degree but less than B.Tech. The gender ratio is low in B.Voc. Software Development around 4:1. If I talk about the faculty they are always supportive and always guide you. Most of the senior teachers are Guest teachers but senior teachers completed their Ph.D.

Ramanujan college bvoc software development

Likes

It is best campus life because all are open for future.
Infrastructure of new building is best of this college.
The canteen are best and all foods are unhygeinic.

Dislikes

Sports system a bit lower. Need some improvement in that.
Ground is a bit low place so it should larger ground.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is bvoc software development it is the best course because now the syllabus of this course has been changed and it has been based on btech level and the teaching faculty is also best they are fully supportive. For the exam, I will say that it has semester-based. Exam so if you read period 1-month exam you can score good marks. No tough to pass the exam

There is nothing in this college to like

Teacher are teach us only theoreticaly not practicaly i would not recommend to take admission

Placement Experience:

In this college students are eligible for placement from 3rd (5th semester). 40% of students get placed and most of the students go for master's I have also. Approx 20-30 company visits in our college average salary 3lpa.

Good college with decent placements

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, College students become eligible for placement. They have lots of internship options as well. Our college has also made it mandatory to do an internship. Almost 70% of my course got placed and most of them opt for higher studies like mca or MBA.

Placement Experience:

Many companies came to the college for hiring students and I told them there is a placement cell that helps us to find a job The average package is 5 LPA and Higher package is 8 LPA, Lowest package is 2 LPA. companies like TCS, Decaton, and Tech Mahindra, etc.

Software Development Department of Ramanujan College

Placement Experience:

Yes, the college will help you to get placed in good companies. Many of the students of this course got placed in good company and some of the students also started their startups which is also successful. About 70-80 percent of students are doing their jobs. Many of them become a freelancer and earn a lot from their skills like editing, web development Android development, etc.

Placement Experience:

There is the best placement in this college. And one of the seniors I know who get placement in a multinational company with 36LPA which is great in this college. And the intership is also great in society you will get all this.
