Review of Institute of Engineering and technology Lucknow

Likes

It is an autonomous college. So faculty of IET only check end sem copies.
The sports complex is the centre of attraction of this college

Dislikes

Restrictions on students especially for first year students.
The limited number of sports fest organized in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very organized and well strucuted and focuses not only on the theoritical understanding of the students but also on the practical knowledge for them with modern demand topics like Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cyber Security. The frequency of mid sem exams is once in two months. There are two mid sem exams.

The girl to boy ratio is much better in comparison go government college
The competitive coding culture and club of the college

Dislikes

The infrastructure like old lecture theatre and old building of Computer science engineering department.

Placement Experience:

The average package of the Institute is 8,20,00. The highest domestic package is 47 LPA and the highest international package is 1.2 CPA. Some of the past recruiting companies are humming wave, hero fincorp. , TCS, Paytm, Contlo and many more. The students from 5th semester are eligible to sit for placement.

Infrastructure of college which I like it . It is good if we consider an AkTU college
The free time students get for side hustle activities.

Dislikes

The restrictions for girls and boys of first year.

Placement Experience:

The institute has itw own Training and Placement Cell which help the students in training, internships and placement procedures. The students from second year onwards are eligible for 3 month internship. However for 6 month internship student must pass 5 semester of the relevant course. The highest package offered is 1.2 CPA(International) and 47 LPA(India) and the average package is 8.2 LPA.

IET Lucknow: College review

Likes

The best thing about this college is the Alumni network of this college. Many of the alumni are working at very reputed firms and MNCs and government bodies.
The competitive coding culture of this college is much better than many of the Tier-2 colleges. Students have pretty good ratings in Coding platforms like Leetcode, Codeforces, Codechef, etc.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be more better. Like new buildings for every department (presently it is for Chemical and Mechanical branch department only)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't know much about other branches but in CSE branch the course curriculum is well strucuted and very relevant for the students. All the topics which are taught are the current trending topics of the field like AI/ML, cybersecurity. The course preferred programming language isnalso not a barrier and Java and C are the major preffered.

A little bit of management issue which is normal

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for college placements from 7th Semester onwards. Companies Visited - Amazon, Atlassian, TCS, Paytm, Titan, Adobe, Byjus, Honda, Wipro abd amny more. Average Package can vary from 500000-3000000 per annum (depending upon the company and the post offered). The Placement Percentage is high and close to 80% including all the branches. I plan to opt for the college placements after the degree.

Likes

There is huge lus green campus of 110 acre and a sport complex that attracts students more .
Faculty are best they provide you a good guidance and knowledge

Dislikes

Incomplete of sport complex which is on running to complete
Less no of canteen in the college we have to go out of the campus for any things

Placement Experience:

Placement are good . The average placement of the year 2023-2024 is 8.2lpa . The highest off campus placement is 1.2 Cr in that year and the highest campus placement is 49lpa . So there is good opportunity of placement. Almost 90% students of cse get placed .

IET Lucknow is one of the best engineering college under aktu. It's campus is full of greenery and it's location is also in the middle of the city.the campus area is 100 acre.
Faculty here are experienced and always direct you towards the right path.sport culture is also good here.

Dislikes

Poor Management system.a few faculty's are not good.
Placement ratio is degrading day by day.

In IET Lucknow after 6th semester you are eligible for the campus placements and the companies like TCS and Bajaj, Akash institute etc. Are there for the campus placements.deserved students gets placements here with highest of 5100000 rupees placement and lowest of 450000 rupees. 40 tu 50 percentage students gets placed here.most of the students also prepare for gate and Cat,ies,ssc exams.

My Experience in IET

Likes

College exposure in terms of placement is actually good
Teacher here are extremely experienced .

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not Upto the point
Cleanliness is not Upto the mark. .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of IET is simply based on the curriculum provided by AKTU. Being a first year student I feel the syllabus is quite comprehensive and not relatable according to initial year. However the syllabus is quiet interesting and full of learning. Each exam we have to give a 3 hour period of time.

Facilities are nice comparing to other private institutions

Course Curriculum Overview:

From this college, the core branch has the best facilities and nice labs and a bigger department of core branches and many people from here are in government PSUs IESs because of the level of studies provided by the faculty.

College is good for cs not for core

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good and classrooms are also good.
Faculties are much more supportive. They provide quality content.

Dislikes

Ratio of Placement is very less no mnc's visit in the college.
There is no practical knowledge during the full duration of the course.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester students are eligible to sit in the company for placement. and minimum cgpa is decided according to the company's requirements. The highest package from the campus is 20 LPA and the average package of 6lpa
