Review of Institute of Engineering and technology Lucknow

The course curriculum is very organized and well strucuted and focuses not only on the theoritical understanding of the students but also on the practical knowledge for them with modern demand topics like Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cyber Security. The frequency of mid sem exams is once in two months. There are two mid sem exams.

The college also provide on campus internship opportunities to their third year and final year students. The duration of internship is of 3 months and 6 months. Some of the rwcently visited companies for internship are De - Shaw, Google, Atlas and Merlin AI.

The detailed fee structure is as follows: Caution money of 5000 at thw time of the admission, Examination fees of 5000 every year, training and placement cell 2000 and tution fees of 70000. So in general the total fees for Computer Science student is 84,000 without hostel. Rhere is additional fees of 15000 for computer science students compared to core branch students.

There are many cultural clubs like JOSH (dramatics club), Insaniax (damce club) and Kalakriti (fine arts club) and technical clubs like GDSC and Fractal (Coding club). The annual cultural fest is "Encore". There are also department fest like "Tantransh" , "Ankuran" , "Civista". The social club of IET Lucknow is "Parmarth".

The hostels at IET Lucknow have all the basic amenities like geyser, water cooler and wifi or LAN. I live with two other roommates in newly built hostel (KN). It is the newly built hostel for third year students. For first year students there is one hostel with 4 students in one room and for second year students it is also one hostel with 3 students in one room. From third year there are 6 hostels with singly alloted. The fews of hostel is 14500 annually and mess fees is 20000 per semester. The quality of mess food is decent enough and there are 4 meals per day.

The Institute of Engineering and technology IET Lucknow was established in the year 1985 amd since it has been proving its importance. It is an autonomous college under AKTU with the rank 1 from past many colleges. The alumni network of IET Lucknow is too great. The admission is based on JEE mains rank followed by the counselling of UPSEE. The students with jee mains rank under 90K general can easily get this college.

I am the student of Computer science branch so only able to tell about Computer science faculty members. The professors of CSE branch are well educated and qualified from very well recognized and reputed colleges like IITs and some foreign universities. They don't force students to attend lectures on daily basis. Also there are two mid sem examination.
