Review of IET Lucknow

The course is well structured for the ECE branch students like topics COA, Digital logic gates. Also the faculty explain the topic in a better way, all you have to do is to attend lectures more often. The frequency of exams is like two mid semester examination namely CT1 and CT2 and after that end semester. However there must be a scopenof improvement like DSA should also need to be taught to students of ECE related branches.

The institute has itw own Training and Placement Cell which help the students in training, internships and placement procedures. The students from second year onwards are eligible for 3 month internship. However for 6 month internship student must pass 5 semester of the relevant course. The highest package offered is 1.2 CPA(International) and 47 LPA(India) and the average package is 8.2 LPA.

Yearly fee is 99275 which includes hostels as well but the additional fee 15000 added for branches like CSE-AI and CSE-SF . UP government provide scholarship of 60000+ for OBC and General EWS students and 95000+ for SC and ST students which can cover your yearly fee almost.

The campus life is not comparable to other Tier 2 and Tier 1 and Tier 3 private colleges but still its pretty good. What makes it full of enthusiasm are the clubs and societies of the college. The cultural clubs like JOSH, Kalakriti (i am the part of this club, its fine arts club) , Mirage (also the part of this club as well, the photography club), Auroas, etc. There are many technical clubs as well like Fractal: Competitive programming club and Robotics club and GDSC. There is also a Sports Complex (best place to view in this college). The annual cultural fest is "Encore".

There are in total 13 hostels at IET Lucknow. The hostels are equipped with all the necessary amenities like wifi, water cooler, sports equipments (TT table , chess board , carrom) and common hall with TV. The quality of mess food is also good because the college is in Lucknow so the food quality is too good actually (especially the dessert at dinner). There is also special party at times at each hostel. Total 9 boys hostel and 4 girls hostels are there. Also the newly built hostel (KN) is best among all.

The college is an autonomous college under AKTU and also the ranked 1 college among all the private and government institutions under AKTU. That is of great advantage for the students as they can score good score in academics. Also its a good government college of Tier 3 for Jee mains rank upto 100000. The admission takes place by UPSEE counselling based on Jee mains rank. The most preferred branch is obviously CSE.

The faculty of ECE department is very strict about attending the lectures. The faculty of CSE department is quite chill and all the faculties of the college are well qualified and have a lot of teaching experience. The end semester exam range from medium to hard. Rest everyone study one night before the exam, so will not mention much about it. Also there are two mid semester examination as well.
