Review of Institute of Engineering and technology Lucknow

Likes

It is an autonomous college. So faculty of IET only check end sem copies.
The sports complex is the centre of attraction of this college

Dislikes

Restrictions on students especially for first year students.
The limited number of sports fest organized in the campus.

Admission:

The Institute of Engineering and technology IET Lucknow was established in the year 1985 amd since it has been proving its importance. It is an autonomous college under AKTU with the rank 1 from past many colleges. The alumni network of IET Lucknow is too great. The admission is based on JEE mains rank followed by the counselling of UPSEE. The students with jee mains rank under 90K general can easily get this college.

Likes

The girl to boy ratio is much better in comparison go government college
The competitive coding culture and club of the college

Dislikes

The infrastructure like old lecture theatre and old building of Computer science engineering department.

Admission:

The college is well known for its competitive coding culture. It has pretty good competitive coding culture which is far better than many other tier 3 colleges. I opted this college because it is good college for students choosing computer science branch with the rank between 35000 and 55000. The admission takes place through counselling by UPSEE based on JEE mains rank.

Likes

Infrastructure of college which I like it . It is good if we consider an AkTU college
The free time students get for side hustle activities.

Dislikes

The restrictions for girls and boys of first year.

Admission:

The college is an autonomous college under AKTU and also the ranked 1 college among all the private and government institutions under AKTU. That is of great advantage for the students as they can score good score in academics. Also its a good government college of Tier 3 for Jee mains rank upto 100000. The admission takes place by UPSEE counselling based on Jee mains rank. The most preferred branch is obviously CSE.

IET Lucknow: College review

Likes

The best thing about this college is the Alumni network of this college. Many of the alumni are working at very reputed firms and MNCs and government bodies.
The competitive coding culture of this college is much better than many of the Tier-2 colleges. Students have pretty good ratings in Coding platforms like Leetcode, Codeforces, Codechef, etc.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be more better. Like new buildings for every department (presently it is for Chemical and Mechanical branch department only)

Admission:

The college is ranked 1 among all the 700+ colleges under AKTU. It is an autonomous institute. Also the coding culture and alumni network of IET Lucknow is far better than many of the Tier-2 colleges. The admission to this colllege takes place by UPSEE counselling based on JEE Mains rank. I don't remeber the exact cut-off but if you are general category then you can get this college with the rank under 50K for Computer Science branch.

Admission:

I did not applied for any other college as such. My reasons for choosing this college over any other college(s) include - --Government College --Number 1 college in UP (under AKTU) --Coding Culture --Placements --Internship Opportunities The College accepts admission through JEE Mains Score (avg percentile is 85-95 for CSE General). The overall admission process is not that hectic or long and it is quite straight-forward and simple.

Likes

There is huge lus green campus of 110 acre and a sport complex that attracts students more .
Faculty are best they provide you a good guidance and knowledge

Dislikes

Incomplete of sport complex which is on running to complete
Less no of canteen in the college we have to go out of the campus for any things

Admission:

I choose this college due to its prime location lucknow because in lucknow there are many good engineering colleges so companies easily think about it and visit here . You can get this college by giving jee mains and by uptac councelling.

The IET LUCKNOW

Likes

IET Lucknow is one of the best engineering college under aktu. It's campus is full of greenery and it's location is also in the middle of the city.the campus area is 100 acre.
Faculty here are experienced and always direct you towards the right path.sport culture is also good here.

Dislikes

Poor Management system.a few faculty's are not good.
Placement ratio is degrading day by day.

You can take admission here by aktu's councelling after your intermediate and you have to give JEE mains exam for taking admission here in IET Lucknow.the application fees is 1000 rupees and after getting a seat in councelling you have to pay 20000 for confirmation of the seat.after seat confirmation you have to came in IET Lucknow for physical reporting and it is very smooth process.

My Experience in IET

Likes

College exposure in terms of placement is actually good
Teacher here are extremely experienced .

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not Upto the point
Cleanliness is not Upto the mark. .

Admission:

I gave the jee entrance exam in order to qualify the cutoff of this college. Being the top college of aktu IET holds a strong position in terms of placement. Sc st gen ews obc are given a extra advantage for the cutoff.

Admission:

Admission can be done by jee mains exam by sitting in UPTU counseling with your jee mains marks process is very simple you have to fill the form and make the preference of colleges with branch wise and make the seat booking fees for seat confirmation then there will be physical reporting for admission.

College is good for cs not for core

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good and classrooms are also good.
Faculties are much more supportive. They provide quality content.

Dislikes

Ratio of Placement is very less no mnc's visit in the college.
There is no practical knowledge during the full duration of the course.

Admission:

Eligibility to take admission into that college one should give the jee mains exam and fulfil the minimum requirements criteria. Separate counselling is done for that college. if one belongs to the reserved category then benefits will be given at the time of admission.
