AKTU PhD Admission 2025-26 For Phase 2 Open at aktu.ac.in; Last Date to Apply

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh (AKTU) has announced the extension of the application deadline for its doctoral programs, including Category A and Category B. Interested candidates must submit their application on or before March 8, 2026, either through the official website aktu.ac.in or by using the direct link below.

Here, Category A refers to the candidates who are exempted from the written examination; however, if a Category A candidate wishes to apply for the AKTU fellowship scheme (Homi Bhabha Teaching Assistant cum Research Fellowship, they need to apply under Category B. Category B refers to the candidates who have to appear for the written test and interview.

As per the official website, Homi Bhabha Teaching Assistant cum Research Fellowship (offered only for the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, the Faculty of Applied Sciences, and the Faculty of Architecture & Planning) will be given to eligible candidates of Category B only, subject to the availability of a supervisor and seats.

The PhD Programme at AKTU is offered in various faculties, including Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy, Applied Sciences, and Architecture, Planning & Development.

The basic minimum eligibility criteria for the doctoral program at AKTU are a bachelor’s and master's degree or masters degree in a relevant field with valid scores in GATE, NET, GMAT, CAT, CMAT, and PGETA exams, depending on the program a candidate chooses.

According to the official website The admit card will be available online to every candidate. The downloaded admit card shall be treated as a valid admit card. The candidates are advised to check the details of the admit cards with regard to their category, gender, Name, Father's Name etc., as mentioned on the Admit Card. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate may report to the examination centre superintendent for such correction on the day of the examination.
