The BSc nautical science is totally residential programme so it's very hard to manage time here and perform every duty that is assigned to you along with your academics. The training provided here is sufficient to excel a career in merchant industry.

It is one of the best institute for Bsc in nautical science. Here we basically learn about various equipment and daily duties onboard a personal has to do and proper methods of doing it. The time schedule is a bit tough one might take some time to adjust accordingly we have a fixed schedule which everyone has to follow The exams are not that difficult if you focus

I chose this as I wanted to earn good money and I was fascinated by YouTubers, the reality is different but still worthy! I would recommend doing a DNS course for academically gifted students as even after DNS you get a graduation degree upon writing exams. Do DNS only if you want to go on the ship and are sure about your profession. Bsc is recommended for those who want to live college life, and who want to secure a graduation degree so that even if plans change at the end of the day they are a graduate and can proceed with a master's. Term-end exams are according to the academic calendar on the imu website. Easy. This can be passed through studying one night before
Exams were conducted always on time, the management is quite good and the exam level is not too hard. If studied well, one can score flying colours in their course. The teaching faculty is well experienced and knowledgeable. Cadets can gain much knowledge from them and become good officers.
I have interest in merchant navy that's why i chose this field. All the faculty are retired merchant navy officers. Faculty have a great knowledge and they have best methods for teaching cadets. If you daily go through the class you will easily pass all the examination.
i chose this course because it is one of the most practical course. The cadet intake every year is around 160-180 cadets. Faculties are in sufficient number and are very qualified, most of them are ranked captain and have a very insightful knowlodge of the shipping world which helps us a lot in gaining experience. the exams are held very frequently in this marine training institute.
I chose the BSc Nautical Science program because this college is best for this program in India and the placements are good. The faculty: students ratio is also good we have 2-2 faculty for each subject. Each faculty is qualified the core subjects are taught by the captains of the ship and other subjects by PhD holders. There is internals every month and at the end semester exam. The exams are medium and not difficult to pass.
2.25 lakh per annum. That includes our mess fee, hostel fee, tution fee etc. The method of fee payment is online and we can also do rtgs. We can also give demand draft for fee payment. Our fee is feasible for most of the students but for few students its not feasible they take loan from bank for college fee.
