T.S. Chanakya IMU NAVI MUMBAI a college best for for B.Sc Nautical Science

I have applied for Tolani Maritime University along with the Indian Maritime University. I have cleared both of the exams. The reason I don't opt for TMI(Tolani Maritime University) as it has too many fees for the BSc Nautical Science program. The reason I opt for Indian Maritime University is that the university is a government University and fees are also reasonable for the program and placements are good. You have to fill the IMU-CET exam for entrance. The admission criteria for the IMU (Indian Maritime University) is that you have to Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from recognized universities and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th / UG Degree.

I chose the BSc Nautical Science program because this college is best for this program in India and the placements are good. The faculty: students ratio is also good we have 2-2 faculty for each subject. Each faculty is qualified the core subjects are taught by the captains of the ship and other subjects by PhD holders. There is internals every month and at the end semester exam. The exams are medium and not difficult to pass.

We have in campus placements in our college. The students get eligible for placements by the end of semester 4/2nd year. Our college provides good placement opportunities. The placement percentage of our college is 80-85%. Companies like Fleet Management Limited, Nyk Line, MOL, PIL, Essar, Science, Home shipping, and Andromeda are the major recruiters of our college. Fleet Management is a bulk recruiter of Chanakya.

The fee of the Bsc Nautical Science course is 225000 per year. The course is for 3 years. The college also offered scholarships for the top 50 students among all of its campuses. Top 50 students for all among its campuses the college give scholarships.

We have the annual fest in our college named IMUurmi. It is the annual fest of our college in which there are various competitions in which the students can take place in any of their likings. It is conducted in the month of June-July. We also have a library in which we have all the books available for academics and it can be accessible for anyone on the campus. We have all the sports and extracurricular activities. Briefly, we have Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, etc. We also have a full size Olympic level swimming pool.
