Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this as I wanted to earn good money and I was fascinated by YouTubers, the reality is different but still worthy! I would recommend doing a DNS course for academically gifted students as even after DNS you get a graduation degree upon writing exams. Do DNS only if you want to go on the ship and are sure about your profession. Bsc is recommended for those who want to live college life, and who want to secure a graduation degree so that even if plans change at the end of the day they are a graduate and can proceed with a master's. Term-end exams are according to the academic calendar on the imu website. Easy. This can be passed through studying one night before

Fees and Financial Aid

It is increasing by 225000 per year for batch 2020-2023. During COVID they charge us for the hostel food laundry. They charge girls for barber service and do not allow them to get haircuts from barbers. I got a scholarship so I was covered many of my batchmates took loans. Placement is good

Campus Life

Social life is low. Shore leave is provided on Sundays only. As it is a residential course stay in a hostel all the time. The library is good. Fully air-conditioned. Classrooms do not have AC Sports is active, extracurricular is active. Participate and win in events to get certificates for building up a resume

Admission

Admission was easy. I took the IMUCET exam and got 333 as my rank. Then through Imu.edu.in I reserved a seat paid of the counselling fee visited the college and gave them a demand draft of the first semester fees. The college did not allow parents to visit and view the campus.

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

from second year only the start with internship fairs and in third year they do the job fair very few IT companies were there. i dont know the exact companies which came in the college but TCS and infosys average pacakge for BSC IT was 2-4 LPA placement rate around 40 % i will look for a job after my degree

The course curriculum is very good. The syllabus of the course of relevant and also helps in preparing different entrance exams for masters. Also course offers wide variety of subjects so students can have exposure to different opportunities in the field. There are also field study visits so students can get their real world experience and exposure. The external exams are a little bit hectic as the take it into a streak. Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

My honest opinion on my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I thought that zoology is most interesting to learn and its have future job opportunity. So basically zoo student are like little dr or zoologist. It provides little bit of that syllabus while learning you feel like you are dr or expert in zoology which example we experience in our day to day life. They need to add more teachers and placement opportunity. After every one and half month there is exam.

T.S chanakya- a career full of glory

For admission in IMU, one must have 10+2 with having atleast 60% in pcm and atleast 50 % in english. The application forms of IMUCET are released in may- june, application fees is 1000 rupees. SC/ST and OBC enjoys the benefits of reservation and are even relaxed with age limit. Entrance exam was not held on 2020 and 2021 and the admissions were based on intermediate and pcm percentage. I have applied for Tolani Maritime University along with the Indian Maritime University. I have cleared both of the exams. The reason I don't opt for TMI(Tolani Maritime University) as it has too many fees for the BSc Nautical Science program. The reason I opt for Indian Maritime University is that the university is a government University and fees are also reasonable for the program and placements are good.
