This course is specialized for those passionate about maritimr operations and navigation.The exams are not very challenging and easy to clear.More over studying things from the book it is more based on practical activiities that are carried out.

The total fee structure for this course is 825000 Rs for 3 years which include hostel and other facilities.The scholarships given in the college are very less and not that promising.The scholarship given are mainly for girls

The campus life is very different from other colleges.The cultural fests in this colleges is very less.There is only one major event that happens in the college every year.There are a lot of sport events that take place and the students who are intrested in sports can opt this college

In order to get admission in this college you have to undergo IMU CET entrance exam.the exam are not the tough and can be cleared easily.The seats are alloted based on the ranks and the cut off is nearly 1500 for general category and 4000 for OBCentrance

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Looks Good on Paper, Fails in Practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum.And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this.And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

T.S chanakya- a career full of glory

For admission in IMU, one must have 10+2 with having atleast 60% in pcm and atleast 50 % in english. The application forms of IMUCET are released in may- june, application fees is 1000 rupees. SC/ST and OBC enjoys the benefits of reservation and are even relaxed with age limit. Entrance exam was not held on 2020 and 2021 and the admissions were based on intermediate and pcm percentage. T.S. Chanakya IMU NAVI MUMBAI a college best for for B.Sc Nautical Science

I have applied for Tolani Maritime University along with the Indian Maritime University. I have cleared both of the exams. The reason I don't opt for TMI(Tolani Maritime University) as it has too many fees for the BSc Nautical Science program. The reason I opt for Indian Maritime University is that the university is a government University and fees are also reasonable for the program and placements are good. You have to fill the IMU-CET exam for entrance. The admission criteria for the IMU (Indian Maritime University) is that you have to Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from recognized universities and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th / UG Degree....Read More
