My course wasnt my first choice at all. I was kinda pushed into that direction. But sociology/ anthropology department is the best department. Amazing teaching staff and with relevance to curriculum; very systematic and very thorough. Amazing job with reference to connect the portion with today's times. Teachers go out of their way to make the subject more engrossing and understanding.
The college is unique for its dynamic group of students, experienced faculty and the exposure provided by the atmosphere in the college. The extra curricular activities and the social involvement programme are special attractions which help the students to gain new skills during the academic course. The beautiful architecture gives a special ambience and adds to the beauty of the institution.
It is one of the top colleges for arts and it's autonomous. It's got a great faculty and lot of opportunities for self advancement. I applied for psychology as it was something I was interested in and the syllabus was really holistic.
The vibe, ambience and the people in this college make it the college it is. It's literally a way of life. The exposure that the college provides is world apart and I was drawn because of that. Also the various fests, activities, ECC, SIP programmes help us reach newer potentials. The different committees also boost the morale and help the students develop a niche for themselves.
Many people recommended and good lab facilities also a lot of my friends were going for this college. Also, I live in the same city so like I can easily travel to college. There were a lot of other personal reasons.
Had heard a lot about the college especially in terms of their management and the number of opportunities that they provided to the students in the college. And I chose BA because I'm really not fit to be in science and not exactly a science person. And Xavier's has the best to give when it comes to arts.
St. Xavier??s is considered as the best college for Humanities in the city. It is popular for its faculty and graduation courses, especially Economics, English and Psychology. It is quite economical and provides access to extensive resources including libraries and various student exchange programmes.
This course is one of thr best one in our college and the faculty is amazing. Thr cpurse has many benefits and it the college is one of the most recognised all over India. Also its really difficult to get admissions in this college which makes it more worthy and challenging to work hard.
St. Xavier??s is a well known and reputed university in Mumbai. The teaching faculty was very good, the college environment including the students was good. Also many companies come to Xavier??s for student placements.
The cirriculum and the credibility St. Xavier's holds. Also the facilities are better here than it's counterpart at Park Street. Also, I heard the placements are good. Specially for Mass Communication, a degree from St. Xavier's is given a preference of sorts in interviews and such.
