Course Curriculum Overview

5

I was very clear since the beginning that i wanted to pursue BA as i want to do B.Ed ahead so BA English would br of great help. The course curriculum is good other than some aspects like poetry, not many people have keen interest and it's a difficult paper to attempt and score

Fees and Financial Aid

FY 7000/- SY 11000/- This was for UG courses Exceptional courses like BMM, BMS, BAF etc have a higher fees as they are more like a higher degree and they have an entrance test XET to get in admissions for them

Campus Life

4

Malhar is one of the most known college fests in Mumbai and it is held in mid August in our college. People from otheir colleges come as contingents and participate and we get a chance to interact with many new people. We also have a massive library with ample of books

Admission

St. Xaviers College Mumbai is the number one college for all kinds of courses, BA English being one of them. Getting into this college was a dream was a dream come true for me, it outshines all other colleges in every possible aspect.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is amazing, the professors are very friendly, approachable and mostly help us to clear our contacts, the marking scheme is cgpa on a scale of 10 and we have 3 exams particularly

Interview Experience

5

So for courses like BA, BCom and BSc there was no interview or entrance test, our admissions were solely based on merit but for other special courses like BMM, BMS, BAF there was XET as an entrance test

Night Life

5

We have Marine Drive and Metro Inox Cinema very close to our college which are very good hangout spots. There are various gyms as well but we have a gym on campus as well. It is also surrounded by a good number of cafeterias

Course Curriculum Overview:

The English Department faculty is renowned in the entirety of Mithibai. The course curriculum is adequate, so I wouldn't want to change much about it. We have carefully planned out the teaching methods employed in our classrooms every year. One of our teachers, for example, would like us to read the material one or two days prior to the day we would discuss it on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty really impressed me so it made learning about psychology even fun and easy to understand They used to have activities based on the current topic so that students get a grip of it in reality Other than that of psychology the other faculties were a little dull so maybe that can change There are 4 exams along the year 2 unit tests and 2 semesters unit being mcq's and sem being for subjective briefings

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in Psychology which is why I opted for this course. Social psychology was especially very interesting to me. The curriculum is good when it comes to future prospects of giving competitive exams. However, it doesn't prepare you a lot for real-life applications as much. The course can definitely include more practical experiments which would make the subject more interesting. Better assignments/projects would also be beneficial. The exams were twice in a year. They weren't very difficult and easy to clear if one studied the portion well. However, I do feel that the exam pattern could be more application-based.
