I chose B.Com Hons. because I'm a student of commerce background and I have a deep interest in this field. Choosing B.com Hons. at this level would surely do me good in future. The exams were online and we didn't have any trouble in giving the exams because we were well trained by the faculty beforehand.

The placement percentage of the college is around 94%. The average salary package offered for freshers is 1.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered can be up to 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA. All interested students get internships in various research laboratories, diagnostic companies, food and water industries and also in various biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Some of the top recruiting companies include Medreich, Indoco, BCIL, Suraksha Diagnostic, Lal Pathlabs, various CSIR and DBT research institutes all over India, Biocon, etc. Top roles are mostly offered in the research and development wing of industries and PhD supervisor, principal investigator, quality control, clinical analysis, etc.

The factor that made me choose this college was only because of my dream city Mumbai. I always wanted to be a part of the city because I had interest in Modelling too. So I can do that too once getting into the college.

I chose St Xavier's college because it is the best college for bcom in kolkata. There is no other good college apart from Xavier's for bcom. This college also provided internship and placement opportunities in many of the big companies.

Discipline and Quality of education. The environment is very good. The faculty is excellent and supportive. The kind of course combination available is great and pretty interesting. The events that take place are aimed at development of students and they are really beneficial for one's personality growth. The library facility is amazing with the availability of a wide range of books. The campus life ia vibrant. There is a good mix of academic and non-academic aspects. There is a great opportunity for one to grow and reach greater heights. The college is an extremely renowed institution.There is lot of scope for enhancing your skills and it will be really shaping you for presenting yourself in the best way in the corporate world and it will help you to get a good exposure to an environment similar to that of the corporate world. The college also has hostel facilities for outstation students. The hostel facilities are amazing and makes students feel like it is their second home.

The college had good teachers. It was a reputed college. The students that passed the college talked high about the college. It was one of the best present in the city. It was a brand. Learning was done through latest procedures.

Good environment. High qualified teachers who make us understand concepts clearly.Good campus and weekly seminars held where we can improve our communication skills and behavior. It is the most reputed college in Kolkata and scored 7 in NIRF ranking.Staff is helpful towards the students. Events are held in the college like blood donation camps,fairs for underprivileged children, visits to villages every year which gives us variety of experiences.
