Every year the college celebrates xavier fest with a new and unique theme all students enjoy the fest joyfully, availability of books in every department there is a library where you get all the good books for your course

Dislikes

College canteen was not so good and tast of food was not nice
It comes to placement, college have a war record. only 20 to 25% of assistant got placed from the campus and that 2 at a very low average package.
Teaching are not that good some teachers are great but most are not that helpful

St Xavier's College pros and cons

Likes

Environment is very nice. Greenery is everywhere.
The campus is very neat and clean. It feels good to be in the campus.
Faculty is very supportive and they try to help the students every way possible.

Dislikes

Attendance is very important and if the minimum attendance is not there then the students is denied of writing the exams.
Some more advanced way to teaching and practical methods can be practiced.

Placement Experience:

There have been campus placements and the offers were not so good. Average package is of 250000. Most of the students prefer higher studies or look for off campus placements for better opportunity and offers.

St. Xavier college review

Likes

Environment is quite good. Good amount of greenery is present in the college. It also has enough space for sunlight. The compound is kept very neat and clean.
Faculty is very nice. They support the students in every way possible.
The discipline in the college is good. There are strict rules for notorious activities.

Dislikes

The students have to pay for parking their vehicles inside the college parking.
Gaps between exams is very less. So we get less time for preparation.
Canteens sometimes provides stale food which leads to sickness.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is not very well in the college. Many students opt of further studies or try for off campus placements. There have been placements in the college but it was not so great. And very less companies came for the placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested. Nearly there are 25000 students in the whole college. Our exams were conducted very frequently like within 3-4 months. For the first 3 semesters, we had to attend the classes online and appear for the exams in offline mode, therefore the exams were really hard to pass.

Real Opinion

Placement Experience:

Placement in our department is not that great Jobs are offered by few companies like TCS. Companies start visiting campus from the 5th Semester onwards but mostly BBA and IT Students got placed Same for internship. So placement wise Out department is not performing That Great but yes if you have enough knowledge you can be placed off-campus as well.

Review of St. Xavier's College, Ranchi

Placement Experience:

After the 5th-semester students get eligible for placement. There have been numerous offers made. Companies like Wipro, Tata Consultancy, VCap money ( business partner of Motilal Oswal financial Ltd) to name a few. The highest package offered is around 6-7 laks per annum. The percentage of students getting placed is very less though. Around 5 to 10%. After getting the degree I will opt for an MBA.

As the candidates come in final year the companies start the on-campus hiring process and the candidates who wish to get placed through campus must apply for the same. There is several IT companies like Accenture, TCS , Wipro and many more which come to hire the candidates.
