Ranchi University is accepting applications for its PhD and M.Phil programs in Clinical Psychology and Psychiatric Social Work. Candidates interested are encouraged to submit their applications by March 12, 2025, along with an application fee of INR 1200 for general candidates and INR 600 for SC/ST candidates.

Ranchi University PhD and M.Phil Programs Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be eligible as per the below-mentioned criteria to apply for Ranchi University PhD and M.Phil program:

| M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology | M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology from a recognized university with at least 55% aggregate grades (as per RCI criteria). |
| M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work | Obtain an M.A. in Social Work from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks. |

For successful enrollment, Candidates must pay an application fee as mentioned in the table below:

Ranchi University PhD and M.Phil Programs Documents Required
Candidates must provide the following documents in self-attested format as well as the original format for verification at the time of admission.
- Certificate of age proof.
- Mark sheets, certificates, and certifications for professional courses.
- Caste certificate (as per Jharkhand government guidelines).
- Residential Certificate (For Jharkhand residents only).
- Disability certificate, if appropriate.
- Documents relating to job experience, etc., if relevant.
- Service candidates must bring a no objection certificate from the institution's head.
- One passport-sized photograph.
Incomplete application forms will not be accepted. Candidates' applications will be canceled if they are unable to submit the above-mentioned documents, or if the documents they submit are judged to be unreliable.
