Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

B. Com Banking and insurance course has a good scope in future so it is a nice course. The curriculum is almost industry ready. More practicals and advanced way of teaching can be practiced. The time gap between the exams are a bit too short so it is difficult for most students to prepare nicely.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Students have to do internship in the 5th semester of their course. There are credits for the internship program. Teachers and faculty members help students for internship program. Internship credits is very important.

Placement Experience

2

Campus placement is not very well in the college. Many students opt of further studies or try for off campus placements. There have been placements in the college but it was not so great. And very less companies came for the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is around 50000 a year. And it is to be paid once after 2 semester. The whole 3 year course fees sums up to 150000. Students can apply for e- kalyan scholarship provided by the government .

Campus Life

4.5

College provides opportunity for the students to start their own clubs and these clubs holds the responsibility for conducting technical fests. Xavier fest is held in the college every year and it is a three day fest.

Admission

Eligibility - 60% in class 12 Application form can be found in the college website and also application fees can be paid there. Reservation of SC and ST. Exams are not so hard. Admission process was very smooth.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.
