Likes

The professor of the college are fantastic . They teach us in very basic language and make us understand all the topics very easily.
Discipline of the college is also very great everyone talks very politely to everyone and the college hai dress for every courses which removes the unequality between the students
The indoor games area. Our college has an indoor games area which has different games and students can go their in their free time and play games like carrom, chess, table tennis, and billiards.

Dislikes

The classes don’t have air conditioners in it because of which we feel hot.
Canteen food is not very hygienic it can be cause of different problems.
Attendance issue . College is very strict for its attendance 75% attendance in every class in every semester is importent

The course is very good because it gives us the real life learning which is going to directly help us in future and as I have to pursue MBA as my post graduation there also this study will help me. It has two exams one mid sem and one end sem mid sem for core subject and end sem for all subject

College exam fee (RCF) was 500. Migration (MIG) was ?100. Administrative charges (ADMC) was ? 500. Yearly extra charges (REE) was ?3000. Departmental charges (DPTC) was ? 14100. Library fund (RLF) was ? 2000. Building fund (RBF) was ?7000. Rep charges (ERP) was ?1500. Sports and Games (S&G) was ? 350. Electricity fund/holding tax (EF_ht) was ?1500. ERP & software Charges (ERPSoftCh) was ? 1500. Net amount was ? 64850.

Campus Life

Range of books in library is very vast every book related to our courses are available there and every department has its different library. We have so many ground and courts in the campus one football ground one basketball court one tennis court and one badminton court.

Admission

I applied for the university of Delhi for b com but wasn't able to make there because wasn't able to clear the cutt for d for the entrance. Admission process for st Xavier college Ranchi was very easy for the course I am pursuing direct admission was available and payment was also very easy

Faculty

Faculty of the college is fantastic. It explains every topic in very easy langugage and faculty is also very supportive they also reply to calls and messages on holidays and guide us and give us right advice.we have 70 students in class. I like Nidhi arya mam the most because she explains thing very easy way and gives accurate notes to us. There are 2 exams in one semester first exam mid semester which is of 30 marks only for the core subjects and another is end semester of 70 marks which is for all subjects .

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

Our goal is to be courteous and appropriate and these guidelines are flexible.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Concentrix, reliance jio, Yamaha motor Pvt Ltd, v Poddar, and associates, etc visited my college for placement the offers made of about in starting 20000 to 30000 salary will be given. The highest package is of 100000 and average package is of 50000 they offers. 80 percent of students getting placements. My plan is to get job in one of these companies after getting the degree.

College life

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
