My college especially celebrates 2 functions ie. Founders day and satrang.in founders day ESSAY, DEBATE & GHAZAL COMPETITION are organized. In satrang DAKARI - a skit and monoacting competition.STROKES - a painting, sketch and collage competition cum exhibition.ENIGMA - a quiz competition.VICHARVAR - a debate & Jam competition.JHANAK - a classical & folkdance competition.SUR SANGAT - a singing competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Karim city college is not an expensive college. It's a pretty basic college. The fee structure is very low if compared to the colleges situated in metro cities.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is'nt any loan availability. Free studentship is awarded to 12.5% of the total number of students on college roll on ground of proper merit. Substantial concession on admission charges are given to poor and meritorious students

Campus Life

Boys and girls have separate games room. Games like carrom, chess can be played. The college participates in zonal games like football, cricket and basketball.

Hostel Facilities

Unfortunately there isn't any hostel facility available from this college. However it is closely situated to many pg's. This college is 2 min walking distance from the bus stand.

Alumni/Alumna

Many passed out students have got job in wipro and tata company. They come once in a while and share their experiences in the college. The senior students gives us advice and teach us about the do's and don'ts in life.

Exam Structure

Exams in my college were not held regularly. There was a pretty descent gap between any consecutive tests. The portion was vast but it was scheduled properly.

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.
