Course Curriculum Overview

4

I selected bcom hons because my field is commerce from the school time so thats why I have selected that course so that in future i get better opportunity in finance sector like accounting. Thus this course helped me to gain more knowledge in the commerce field for day to day financial activities. They should work on placements and internships for the students. The exams times are quite good enough to prepare for the examination and therefore the difficulty is around i guess 10/7

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 7k to 8k minimum for bcom hons . I didn't apply for tution and scholarships but the college has been providing aid to all the students who all are having money issues for studying they all can apply for scholarships and my friends were also opted for bcom hons same as me so overall expenses for my course for 3 years atleast 20k or 27k around and graduated with first class distinction

Campus Life

4

There are many festivals which are performed in our college like Diwali celebration, holi celebration and all the freshers party and farewell. There are many books in the library like around more than 5000 . The technology is good like there are projector for the students so that they can understand easily while studying. The sports and other activities is very astonishing I've been a carrom player and football player and we participated in Many tournaments like Reliance cup . I've been elected as a sports president in my college and it does help me getting many opportunities in sports quota and government quota

Admission

Actually I applied only for this college because it is nearer from my home and actually this college is quite famous in my hometown and i didn't apply in another college because this is kolhan university and the education is good in this college. The admission process is like you have to get 60% above in your 12th and no exams were taken , i got direct admission so that's why i applied in karim city college instead of any other colleges

Faculty

4

The faculty and students ratio i guess its 10/7 they indeed understand our problems and later they help us out . I liked Dr Rashmi she is a good teacher she teaches in a very effective manner easily to understand . In my eyes Dr rashmi and Dr mozzam nazri is good. The faculty i don't like is Aftab sir because he doesn't supported me . There are 6 semester in bcom hons before the 4 year rule of graduation implemented and the exams are hard but somehow everyone done good estimated ratio students passed is around 10/7

Night Life

1

Night life is not available in my college and during day time gym is available including cafeteria after 10 pm the college is closed there is no hostel. The hangout places in my college is terrace and canteen and if you want to play you can go to games room there is plenty of games available for the students and library is also available for the students.

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.
