Banking and insurance is very practical and real world based subject and the curriculum is also designed accordingly. Some advanced and practical methods can be used for teaching. The exam duration is very less.

Internships Opportunities

Internship programs are offered in the faculty. In semester 5 students have to compulsorily attend 2 internship and the credits are given for the internship. The credits for the internship is very important.

Placement Experience

There have been campus placements and the offers were not so good. Average package is of 250000. Most of the students prefer higher studies or look for off campus placements for better opportunity and offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is 50000 per year and has to be paid each year or after 2 semesters. Students can apply for e-kalyan scholarships offered by the government. SC and ST students get some benefits regarding the fees.

Campus Life

Xavier's fest is held every year. It is a three-day program. There are clubs present in the college some are started by the faculty and some are by the students. These clubs are responsible for holding technical fests in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available for the boys. Tribal students gets preference while they search for hostel. Mess is not healthy but the taste is not so good. Students are offered two meals a day in morning and at night.

Admission

Eligibility is 60% marks in class 12th. Application form can be found in college website and also the application fees can be paid through the website using e- banking. ST and SC students get reservation benefits. Exams are taken after every 3 months. The admission process was very smooth.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

Campus placement are down year-wise. If you want you can apply in Banking and Finance in Banking sector. A company like MELCON and other companies come for campus placement. They provide training for selected candidates.
