Remarks

Generally, the college takes entrance exams but as I got admission during the pandemic COVID I was shortlisted based on the marks which I secured in my 12th board. You can find the admission form and all the required details on the college website. The admission process was simple and easy. I don't think that there needs to be any improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I was interested. Nearly there are 25000 students in the whole college. Our exams were conducted very frequently like within 3-4 months. For the first 3 semesters, we had to attend the classes online and appear for the exams in offline mode, therefore the exams were really hard to pass.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees are fixed throughout the whole session. The fees of all the courses are budget friendly and affordable. For reservation students, fees are low as they get scholarships. As I'm still an undergraduate in that college campus job.

Campus Life

There are a few fests conducted in our college. Yes, every type of book, related to courses is available in our college library. The classroom is occupied with old school desks and benchs,6 ceiling fans, and four wall fans. Fans vary according to the size of the rooms. Classrooms have a blackboard which is least used by the teachers as they only dictate and we have to write on our notebooks. Yes, there are many sports and extracurricular activities such as football, basketball, cricket, badminton, etc. on campus. There are several clubs such as Rotaract club, NSS, NCC, Red ribbon club, Geology club, etc.

Course was good but education system was fail to make a course helpful that was main problem of our education system. No not for real world only for exams only. Change the education system of our India only, Very late exams are conducted.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

Campus placement are down year-wise. If you want you can apply in Banking and Finance in Banking sector. A company like MELCON and other companies come for campus placement. They provide training for selected candidates.

I wanted to be a chartered accountant and it's not possible without b com course that's why I choose commerce. Facilities in this college are brilliant that's why huge number of student take admission in this college. Not just facilities also every staff of this college is so humble they solve your every problem anytime. Teaching method of every teacher in this college is so brilliant, they take test after completing every chapter that's why all student prepared for exam anytime. My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
