B.A. Hons. Geography or Bachelor of Arts Honours in Geography is an undergraduate Geography Course. Geography is the science that studies the lands, features, inhabitants, and phenomena of Earth. A literal translation would be to describe or write about the Earth. B.A. Hons. Geography is generally three academic year degree course and may be provided on a part-time basis by certain institutes. The course highlights the different aspects of land, environment and water and all interior and exterior formation.

I chose this course because I have developed an interest in my 12th standard. It has 6 faculties in the geography department. Teachers are cooperative with students term exams were held precisely on time. It is moderate in difficulty level to pass.

Mine was geography honours as I have a keen interest in that subject. Faculty member are really helpful and excellent in their field of expertise. About 50 students in two batch is run there. Mid term and end term both were always on time and questions are really upto the mark.

I my opinion geography department is the best department in st Xavier's college ranchi and we were getting all the facilities like lab, football ground, table tennis, basketball, cafeteria, church, etc
